If the 1.8 comes with the Ori HU, it would be better.. Sunroof? replace it with airbags

FYI, all relates to cost & pricing, who's fault? BN lar who else. Give you example, if the Tuscon had the same spec as the Sportage, it would be priced around 160k-170k.

SD don't enjoy special relationship like Naza does with the Govt.

Had a chat with a Hyundai salesperson this morning. He mentioned the roadshow at MidValley this 22-26 Feb will only showcase the car. No pricing will be revealed yet. Apparently the government didn't approve the initial pricing of the car (not sure if too low, or too high). Prices are only expected to be revealed early March, along with the cars in the showroom.

Definitely it's the failure from SD which can't meet the timeline & delay due to engine and price issue, and Inokom act smart to modify the car hope to have unique style for Elantra MD (Made in Malaysia) and eventually turned the car from good -> bad.

Looks like many of us are disappointed before the launch, knowing what is fitted to the car.

So the only hope is to price the car right.. But even if the 1.8 is price below 100k.. I feel potong steam already..

This is the most likely reason the major cause of delay.
Proton SA told me Proton Tuah launching in March and expected price is RM7xK.
So Elentra 1.6 better main jauh jauh sikit to prevent Tuah from premature death.

By the time the Elantra/Avante actually launched, the facelift probably already round the corner.
