QUOTE(ngweichoong @ Jan 22 2012, 07:29 AM) The spec definitely is higher than T or H, but it doesn't means the quality is good. A lot of previous Hyundai customer even i10 struggle with spare part, bad SC... dont worry, you can always choose civic, those who discuss here loves the Elantra, it looks nice. modern, wait civic new one come, dont know you like the big ass shape a not? anyway market perception is important if you mr Ng believe it is important. otherwise it don't make difference. if you are afraid, always choose something you and your friends can share the problem with. at least you are not left alone when you have a problem. Otherwise you will cry in the corner alone. Although T and H occasionally also have the same problem , but the Hyundai reputation is still worse than T and H. No doubt , Hyundai design technology progress advance this few year but yet no prove the car quality is same as T and H. For me , i prefer pick the new car give me less problem rather than high technology but with fault intermittent. In fact, i'm also one of the people who waiting the new elantra as my Iswara has been used for 13 years. But since the elantra price is same/higher than H, i will chose civic. Just because the market perception for Hyundai quality is still bad, i don't want to take the higher risk to get the problematic car. Also, although Hyundai car now come with high technology, but look like the SC, Spare Part management still unable to fulfill this requirement. If you op to try something different, well then Elantra will be something to think of. maybe to even take a look. |

Added on January 23, 2012, 11:50 am Civic 1.8 tsi =+/-118k Mazda2.0 =+/-120k Elantra1.8 =<110k It should be price less than 110k if compare to J car? Anyway, K car resale value is really hard to compromise Malaysian mindset.. [/quote] wah Honda got TSI engine woh... cool, i want one also, but got DSG a not? Added on January 24, 2012, 2:25 pm QUOTE(yamato @ Jan 24 2012, 01:22 PM) many choices for tag of +/-110k. no worries, ask any of the SD sales man they can get the Hyundai batch for you. like the kia forte loh. boleh tukar nama.alot 1.6L to 2.0L fall into this range, elentra is just another contender. but the second when it carries an inokom emblem, it became a poor contender... totally a brandname disaster! just my 2cents This post has been edited by sonyman: Jan 24 2012, 02:25 PM |

forte all the way, cause it is a ban chien kuih. you know the thing that is cheap and has everything in it. hehe...
otherwise if P3-21A comes out, and you fall in love with it, maybe that one you may consider also, unless you have a no P policy, so cannot help here. but Fiesta is small and tight. but worth the money for the ride. i love it too. but i would not worry about resale value as you already got staff discount. 308T coming with new facelift soon, plus a little bit sensitive lah. sometimes will get angry with you for no reason, but it does give you plenty of pleasure and orgasms when u are using it. as for the elantra, nice, cool, but getting on everyones nerves, but anyway it will come somehow, maybe tomorrow u will see the car in Mid valley leh, who knows. only thing here if at 90k you could probably get a 1.6 from forte but u may not be able to get a elantra, so if you can, wait loh, wait and wait and wait. |
