no only today manage to activate it . previosly when i lock the logo immobiliser did not light up and flash .
only today manage to activate it wonder it is normal or not? . so after lock , the logo immobiliser should be blinking which means it is set to activate and it is normal-lah. like other toyota series as when after lock the immobiliser is blinking also.

mine haven't finish the first tank yet. however , under normal driving, i can get 27.3km/litre for 60km trip . pretty good figure already since i haven't used the eco mode. when my wife is driving ,she get 19 - 22 km/litre as well sometimes.

would like to know whether your all manage to get your battery fully charge or not ? mine is always 2 bar nearly to full and have not get fully charge so far. may be i distance i travel is short .

In general, when the state of charge is over 70% or so, the computer tries extra hard to use battery power. The battery is "full" at 80%, and the computer won't let it charge any further. The target level is 60% (6 bars); cruising on the highway at a constant speed will almost always leave you there. Even being 2-3% away from a 60% SoC is enough to make a small but measurable difference in the amount of energy drawn from or put into the battery while accelerating.

In Prius, the depth of discharge is around 10% normally, I heard it won't go beyond 40%, this is to prolong the battery lifespan, otherwise, it will like the laptop battery that die in two years.

Prius HSD will never fully charge or discharge NiMH battery, the range is 40% to 80% if I'm not mistaken.

more info can be found https://sites.google.com/site/usbseawolf200...th-of-discharge

Do you know that in USA, New 2.5 Camry is only USD 22K=RM68K with higher specs. In Malaysia, It is selling now RM183K. It is more than RM100K difference. What a rip off from rakyat in order to protect proton and cronies. I do not want to pay so much on tax knowing that the actually price of non hybrid car is very low. I have booked Prius C lately. It is worth of your penny. Prius C- Malaysia version in USA is almost the same price.

i have 2 car bearing same plate no. 8588 and this one is 8588B. just $210 for this no. only. Even my old 8588 i also buy it at $210 also last time. My wife is driving it Mon to friday and i only manage to drive it during weekend. So far it is good but at 80kn/h . all you can hear is wind noise from the side mirror. tyre noise is reduce when heat up or drive in the afternoon. Early morning, you can hear tyre noise very clear as it still cold and more contact point i believe.
