Just a question to those who own a Prius C. I want to check on the illuminated entry system.

If the car is lock and you are having the key with you. If you stand on the front passenger door area, but not yet open the door, the interior light will illuminate. Now, walk a way and wait a while let the interior light off. Now, try to stand on the driver side door area without opening the door, does the interior light illuminate?

I am only having the interior light illuminating if I stand on the front passenger side door area but not the driver side. Finding it odd.

Could any Prius C owners here re-confirm this simple test on their vehicle? Would appreciate a reply in this.

Do make sure the interior light setting is set to "door" before conducting this simple test.

have tested mine , both passenger and driver side no mater where u stand the light will illuminating once u come near to it as describe to tested.

I didn't know there is such a feature in Prius C, a really nice to have feature, BTW, does it come with auto light too?

prices are vary from different places. mine is having Sunguard brand approved by JPJ and cost me$1200. warranty 5 years.

I thought Toyota includes Toyota Premium Guard on the car already. I know my Prius Luxury comes with it.

I dont recall seeing this option in the menu when I test droved the car.

does anyone know how to play the dvd while the car is driving? or is it only in P gear it'll play?

now is 15", if change back 15" rims shud not be a prob rite? but is 16"?

the Premium tint is standard on Prius (big)
for prius C, there's an optional Standard tint at RM1200

no idea but i see so many forumers get from him...so i have no problem with that also as long as it is trusted

if you are getting the original dvd palyer for movies from toyota . too bad you can only watch dvd movies if gear at "P" only. however , you can pay outside people to disable it.

Just wonder, any guys know when the 2nd or 3rd batch of Prius C will arrived? And anyone got it recently?

Hi all new Prius c owner, how many mileage can you guys achieve for full tank? My first full tank can last me 680-700++km which is about 19.7km/l. With this mileage, it is slightly better than normal car. However, I assume that hybrid can achieve more mileage than mention above.

Are you guys out there manage to achieve more mileage mention above?

My SAGA BLM can reach 15km/L, seem Prius C not really that low in FC.

mine haven't finish the first tank yet. however , under normal driving, i can get 27.3km/litre for 60km trip . pretty good figure already since i haven't used the eco mode. when my wife is driving ,she get 19 - 22 km/litre as well sometimes.

would like to know whether your all manage to get your battery fully charge or not ? mine is always 2 bar nearly to full and have not get fully charge so far. may be i distance i travel is short .

I tried Eco mode and battery always drain faster than normal mode. I have one time battery left 1 bar and hybrid battery off and engine on to charge the battery. Second tank slightly lesser 30km compare to first tank

won't full also. cuz all the while the car been half petrol half battery while driving...so it won't get full

is you immoboliser working? it should blink if we lock the car. am i right?
