I wouldn't recommend WD40 on plastic surfaces - you may be stripping off more than the residue itself.

Don't know about you. But have personally used for that purpose and it really works. So, it's up to to you....

...4th days into owning my awesome yellow 1.5 (m), to & fro jb today with constantly hitting 130km smoothly. Everything working fine except the new manual gear box feeling stiff & rigid. Is that the way Myvi new manual gear box reacted, anyone? biggrin.gif

i dont think we need to backup.. last time i messed up with the software and ended up formatting the whole sd..

then i flash in new 5.5 version and everything back to normal..

one thing i dont like is that we have to plug in the sd card to the HU then put back pc just to click the 'finish' button.. lame.. shakehead.gif
*
The insert SD card to HU is to read ur GPS hardware ID to identify validation.. Something like reading activation key..

The one problem I have with manual in MyVi is that the height of the seat does not feel 'right' with the short gearstick.

Well it's always better to use weaker solvents first before using out stronger ones. Generally if there's a product which is suited for it's purpose, it's much better to use it than using a product for it's secondary purpose if you get what I mean.

For stains on your clothes you use detergent. For tougher stains you use Dynamo. When nothing works you use bleach tongue.gif

Thanks kelvyn smile.gif

You may want to read the fine print first though The uses there have been tested by end-users, but not actually tested by the company itself. It does not imply or endorse any of those recommendations from the end-users as well. What I'm just skeptical about is that everyone believes what they can see - but what they can't see is totally dismissed. The fact is that I can't see what WD40 may do to your dashboard as well (on a microscopic level, or any non-acute effects thereafter), which is why I use a specialised cleaner. At least, they have done their homework.

But hey, whatever floats your boat. I do have a can of WD40 too which I regularly use, but I'd prefer to use specialised chemicals/equipment to do the job. smile.gif
