QUOTE(steven.7676 @ Dec 31 2011, 01:50 PM) which after market brake pad good for myvi. my myvi reach 47k already and feel the brake pad performance drop already. dont want the original bcos feel it not good enough. If you are looking for effective brake pads that bites, try EBC. Refer HereGo for either the Black stuff or the Green stuff. Do take note that Green stuff produces more brake dust compared to Black stuff. |

QUOTE(darude87 @ Jan 2 2012, 03:08 PM) Yup this was asked a couple of times before, but so far, no one has reported in this forum of any success. Agree that the Locatoo software sucks. Their map is not complete.QUOTE(SinnerBuyer @ Jan 3 2012, 12:04 AM) yup.. maybe u can't ask for discount but u can always ask for free gift (not a cheapo gifts)... From what I know, can get min of RM500 discount. That was last year. If this year, could be more?smart tag + full tank is a good deal. else u can bargain for car tint but make sure u choose car tint of your choice (else they will only give u a cheapo tint) i choose car tint that costs rm 488 and i just top up rm 250. SA even give me RM 50 personal money to refuel... QUOTE(Aj6009 @ Jan 3 2012, 12:54 AM) FB ...i see....will do..... Public Bank, also can get 2.88%oppsss.....lupa nak tanya.... Can we compare our HP interest rate ? Which bank ? and so on ? for future member reference ? k let start with me : Try submit 2 banks : 1) AM bank 3.05% 2) Maybank 2.88 % Both approved .....LOU ( letter of undertaking ) both I have...but ambank comes with Amlife insurance....juz like MRTA ...if somtehing bad happen to you...it covers.....your loves ones.... I think Maybank also have that kind of HP insurance coverage...anyone can update ? Heard also the int.rate going to hike up this year....mmmmm... The interest rates is also dependent on the loan duration. The longer duration, the lower the interest rates. |

QUOTE(decade_89 @ Jan 3 2012, 05:51 PM) haha...okok, and where can i tint my window, and make a lock for my handbreak and also plan to buy a set of mat for my myvi...where is cheapest? Car tint - depend on your budget. What you pay is what you get. If budget permits, go for the better ones if you wants to reduce the heat, etc. Huper Optic is quite good and value for money.Lock - try locktect, locktech. There is also another kind that locks the gear. Unfortunately, they do not have the model for the new Myvi as the gear is now located at the dashboard. Gear Lock Floor mats - any accessories shop will have |

Noticed that on the 1.5SE, the ori horn by P2 is really crappy. To add to that, it is installed at the rear of the engine compartment; facing the firewall. So, when you press the horn, the driver receives the horn blast.
Normally, in all cars they are installed at the front (in front of the radiator) |

QUOTE(SinnerBuyer @ Jan 6 2012, 01:08 AM) If you change the horn, it shouldn't void the warranty of the rest of the car except for the horn; in which case you have already replaced the ori one anyway. This post has been edited by kelvyn: Jan 6 2012, 09:02 AM |

2012 production car is different from 2012 registered car
you could register your 2011 production car in 2012 while for 2012 production car will have to wait for the production in the year 2012. This post has been edited by kelvyn: Jan 6 2012, 11:46 AM |

actually, what can go wrong in purchasing a new car?
just make sure all payments are made to a registered company & the company is listed as P2's dealer. Having said that, if the add freebees are not much compared to those offered by the ones that your are comfortable with, might as well get from them. |

QUOTE(kimirockz @ Jan 8 2012, 01:30 AM) Report in! Just a matter of curiosity. Registered 06/01/2012 Manufactured at 2012 Purple Color Mileage 30KM I drove for about 15mins and i found out it was very hot under the bonnet(engine part). Is that normal? Would it be possible to be able to register a 2012 vehicle just 6 days into the new year? A 2012 vehicle will mean manufacturing in year 2012. Having to go thru the production process and then deliver to the dealer in less than 6 days? |

"The ABS is a four-wheel system that prevents wheel lock-up by automatically modulating the brake pressure during an emergency stop. By preventing the wheels from locking, it enables the driver to maintain steering control and to stop in the shortest possible distance under most conditions."
Source: here For ABS to function properly, you just step hard on the brake paddle. Do not pump the brake paddle like what you would normally do with non ABS system. |

QUOTE(matmoto5125 @ Jan 11 2012, 01:48 PM) It's more of avoiding to maintain a constant speed for long duration as what will normally happen in long distance travel. Other than that, should be OK...Maybe some other experts can add more if any... |

Taking a look at the photos of the Power cushion buffer.. and its installation, you will noticed that only when the spring is compressed towards the max, that's when the cushion comes into action. On normal spring movements, there is no effect from the cushion.
![]() BTW, the cushion comes in different sizes to suit different vehicle requirements This post has been edited by kelvyn: Jan 13 2012, 09:12 AM |

QUOTE(Intel@Atom @ Jan 13 2012, 10:20 AM) what were you expecting to achieve from installing them?they are basically to prevent the spring to reach the bottom thus avoiding the tyres to scrap the fender (in some cases where we could not get the right rim offsets) |
