To those with Myvi LB manuals regardless of 1.3 or 1.5, what are your cruising speeds at 110km/h on fifth gear?

What you gonna change bro?? Type S 4" Coaxial ? Hahaha... Actually, I wanna change the speakers too, est. 2K, but need after CNY. Now do the headunit 1st as the Flush type came with the car doesnt supports iPod, P2 aint no Apple supporter.. LOL  tongue.gif

Ya man, but only the HU lar.. hahaha.. I just got an iPod Nano 6G 16GB for free, so might use it for playing songs in the car, Sad to say that the flush type HU doesnt supports iPod, and I just got my 1 year used iPod Touch 4G 32GB sold at 600. Might as well use the money and get 1 nice HU with iPhone/iPod supported. hahaha..

p/s, is there anyone here did the double din bracket for LB myvi?? Hahaha.. or i'm the 1st 1??  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Anyone bought the SE 1.5 and got any "Angpau" during the Dragon Fest Promo?
*
I hope there is. Going to place my booking tomorrow wink.gif

Anyway no one answered this yet. Does the 1.3 and 1.5 use similar gear ratios for the same type of transmission?

The price will be when you actually get your car. Not the day you made your booking. So, even if you made your booking earlier, you may need to pay the increase price if you take your car after their implementation.
So, if you could try to register your car before the price increase is implemented.

THis rumour has been going around. None is confirmed yet
The price is subject to change as long you haven't sign the agreement of handing over the car. It's in Perodua's T&C

*
Well, that sucks. I'll be getting it delivered during the 4th day of CNY, so here's hoping P2 doesn't take their customer's angpows away. sad.gif

this is a very noob question, please forgive me.

the USB/MP3 player...does that mean, we can just put in any mp3 player into the thingy and play songs?

compatible with any brand mp3 player?
*
You're supposed to plug a thumbdrive that contains your MP3s inside, not your MP3 player. If you would still like to do so anyway I think there's an AUX jack for it smile.gif

I'm still surveying at what tint, seat cover and coil mat to put for the MyVi LBLP.

So far, I have in mind are:

Tint: Ray-Tech (multiple grades), VKool and 3M
Seat Cover: CoolMax Standard, CoolMax Premium
Coil Mat: any?

Any recommendation you guys would like to share or if any shops can get decent pricing for the items above? smile.gif
*
CannyCool has a 15 year warranty on her tinting - I'm planning to pay her place a visit once my ride arrives.

Can anyone check whether the flush HU is able to read any form of ID3 tags from the MP3 during USB playback instead of just telling the time elapsed?

Thanks a lot bro smile.gif My current car has a USB pluggable HU so I was really afraid if I lost this function as I listen to a lot of new songs while driving, want to go back and favorite them on the PC but teruk lah if you can't remember the title or album name sad.gif

I heard the speakers are crappy also - maybe it's time to put aside more cash once my car arrives smile.gif

Sorry bro, forgot to ask. Can the HU play files that have non-Latin symbols and characters? Some stock HUs have this problem - they skip it entirely sad.gif

For strut front bars we attach it and lock it down with the existing screw holes, done without any drilling and modification to the chassis. But what about rear ARBs? Is it required that any drilling has to be performed to attach the anti roll bar to the car?

No bro, actually theres already hole there
*
Well because from an engineering standpoint, if the area wasn't meant to take any stress caused by the ARB in the first place, drilling holes into it would cause further problems to its durability.

I'm planning to fit in bang for buck mods which last - rigid collars/stiff rings, rear ARBs and front strut bars, and touch up the sound system a little as well smile.gif

Sometimes I wonder what P2 was thinking when they omitted the foglight indicator - is it really worth to cut costs with a T5 bulb and some wiring?

This is a surprise for me really, foglight has no indicator lit when it's turned on.. sweat.gif

If you wanna DIY, sure troublesome since has to open all those meter console panel, find the right wire and fit it...

Small matter for some, but kinda big deal for me lol.. Seriously.. shakehead.gif
*
From a manufacturer's POV I'd assume that the circuit and wiring is already built-in since the cost is just negligible, only the bulb is absent.

Then maybe the RM13.50 price hike will include DVVT sticker and a T5 bulb for the indicator. Problem solved. laugh.gif

That RM13.50 I think, went to your insurance premium sweat.gif

Yeah, the increase of RM13.50 is due to the insurance rather than car price revision. My SA mentioned there is slot in the meter panel but due to cust cost, no bulb inside and the panel is originally from Toyota.
*
Hmm, seems highly plausible to fit in a bulb there? hmm.gif
