I think I saw Myvi SE 1.5 is fitted with 2 different tyres. One with Continental CC5, the other is Goodyear NCT5.
Any difference in driving experience? |

OT a bit.
Car plate number bought at RM210 can last how long until you NEED to do registration? 3 months as stated in website or 1 month as quoted by its staff at the registration counter? QUOTE(Area51SE @ Jan 11 2012, 12:45 PM) Well , as long you go up to a speed of 100km/h should be ok. But still, If i'm not wrong, it's not recommended to drive long distance before the first service. I might be wrong also O.o Wait for more Pro Sifus to reply u better What if drive a bot, then stop at R&R, rest a bit, then continue.. Make several stops.. |

QUOTE(kelvyn @ Jan 11 2012, 01:08 PM) It's more of avoiding to maintain a constant speed for long duration as what will normally happen in long distance travel. Other than that, should be OK... That's what I know too. New engines should avoid constant speed for a prolonged time.Maybe some other experts can add more if any... |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Jan 11 2012, 02:02 PM) that depending on you to believe in hard break in or easy break in. Thanks for the info. Actually, if use Minyak Cicak also need to warm up? The best method is to alternate between short bursts of hard acceleration and deceleration and going outstation with a new car is actually recommended since it will be faster to reach the first service and get rid of the dirty oil full with metal bits and other substance harmful to your engine. Added on January 11, 2012, 2:04 pmand one more thing is, always warm up the engine properly before going for a hard drive. Manufacturers now always say new engines with this and that tech and injection will no longer require warming up and you can just start the engine and go. This is for the sake of owner's convenience but they failed to mention about the engine reliability in the long run. |
