hi All, today i've just placed a Myvi SE 1.5 (m) yellow color booking. Please do register me in the forum.

At SA today, i tested both Myvi & Alza which of course Myvi came out very spirited & firery from my both short drive! Even in 2nd gear, Myvi SE (m) can proper off easily as now & before I am driving the legendary SGTI (is now on sale to make way for my new 1.5 Myvi:)) which I will definitely going to enjoy more...smile.gif

Sad news is this 2012 Myvi has no discount but have some freebies as according to the SA. I should be getting my new rides next week or so...yahoo!

the one that i install only lock the brake pedal..and both auto and manual can use the same lock..if it is locked, the engine cannot start..same like locktech..only different is, for locktech, it has to lock both locks to make the engine cannot start..while this one even if we lock the main one only, the engine cannot start already..the price is rm290 after nego2..

the lock model for my car is actually for the old myvi..but it can fit new myvi without any problem..and although it can cut the engine ignition, some pro thief maybe can bypass this thing also..at least, they need more time to break the lock, and make it startable back..and since it is at the pedal area, not easy to work there..it is basically a confined space..
*
how about manual pedal lock? It should be good too right? Is Myvi also a hottie car like my sgti??

Guys, is it really worth to invest on Ultra Racing front strut bar and rear anti roll bar ? Does it really improve handling ?

btw, i heard by installing these two bars, it might make the car more bumpy...is it true ?
*
well, from my sgti experience, the thicker anti roll bar is definitely good for superb handling, more stability and this i can shared with you all:)

i dont know whether the manual have different lock..but from what i know, the lock that i installed can fit both auto and manual..last time got one myvi owner after few days only got car, already got stolen..and open thread at F&F..so for me, myvi also a hot car..since a lot of people using it..means a lot of people looking for spare parts..sgti is hot since a lot of people want it and proton no more producing it..
*
ok, so what normally a newbie like me do once get the new Myvi, hop straight to the accessories shop to upgrade the security system or change the ignition key lock or cut-off fuel line? Mind to share? thks

dont do too extreme like involving cutting wires..the warranty will void..and no need to change ignition key lock and cut off fuel line..since our myvi already has the immobiliser system..it is a waste if u kacau the system..just a little bit extra safety is enough like the pedal lock..
*
ok, i'm exactly a newbie here right blush.gif

ok, how about changing the radio front panel by changing the oem HU to an aftermarket 1din HU? Will that also voiding the warranty too?

If yes, then can we upgrade the speakers & install amp plus a subwoofer? Will this have any effect on the warranty as well?? sweat.gif

Actually in terms of air flowthrough, K&N air filter vs redline/works whats the difference?
*
Well, we can consider Maddriver's airflow drop-in filter as it costs half of the branded price but work similarily in terms of airflow intake filtration, worth the $$ spending:) This is just my humble 5cents opinion yah

Just got a quotation for MyVi LPLB UR

Front Strut + Front Lower + Anti Rolling Bar = RM650

Izzit front lower necessary? How's the price quotation anyway.
*
Well, for our Myvi type of rides, Anti Roll Bar is good but I don't know about front strut & lower. Is it necessary as Myvi is not a high performance kind of rides. Just a thought:)

I suppose to spent our well-earn money into ICE should justify better. What think you & the rest?

Not sure but what I remember a forumer here mentioned is that the warranty offered is per-item basis - but it is determined by the service centre. It is best to call the one that you usually go to and enquire smile.gif
*
ok, but i havent got my rides yet, just booked & got my new reg nbr only today! I'll ask the P2 dealer if any changes to the speakers system, addon amp+woofer will void any warranty or not yah. I will not disturb the ori oem HU.

As long as got music, then it's sufficient for me at the moment. I'm looking towards comfortable drive first biggrin.gif

Here's my list of what to do:

1) Tinting
2) Seat Cover
3) Coil mat
4) UR Bars (most likely Front Strut + Anti Rolling Bar)

ICE etc. can wait tongue.gif
*
...own preference of course:) well, tinting is utmost 1st thing to do due to our harsh weather here thumbup.gif & since I'll be otr most of the time, great soothing sound to relax & beating is one of the better way to escape from all the work/life pressure off!

Do give it a try bro but bewarn of ICE addictions once inside the realm of ICE! brows.gif

Little do I know about the goddess of ICE, but I'm trying to save myself not to step into it. I'm the kind of guy that look for the best possible stuff I can get. Hence, ICE is a no-no otherwise I'll enroute into financing issue doh.gif

How's the new Myvi SE compared to the Ford Fiesta hatchback? What's the difference like, in terms of comfort, quality & performance?
*
Well, basically both are 4 doors hatchback with the exception of a sedan model too but not P2 Myvi, one being rounded all all angles, the other one is more of raked shape!
Difference in engine capacity is obvious though, being at 1.3 & 1.5. Whereas, Ford is being 1.4 & 1.6!
Comfort is the same i believed!
Quality is subjected how we look at it only!
Performance wise, Myvi should be better due already proven with the past years 1.3cc zig-zagging here & there, speedily fast on highway & byway...that's why it was the best selling car back in 2011!
Oppps, price also a big difference!

Conclusion, want better value for money whether new or used, Myvi will knock off almost all hatchback makers in the country:)!

So your final verdict is Myvi is a god sent hatchback to save malaysians from their miserable choices of motoring vehicles which is capable of outrun, outhandle and outperform cars from a Ford Fiesta right up to a Ferrari FF?
*
Well, there shouldn't be any comparison here in the 1st place as this is a Myvi topic page & in our life, we musn't comparing too as there's no limit in doing comparions anyway.

Verdict: Myvi is of a lower price with better improved features all-round, ultimately, value for money worth of course:)...& not forgetting, Myvi has done great deal & justification to all walks of life here by just looking otr, we have to admit that right:) Young & Old (at heart!), all loved Myvi!!

Of course, both F or FF or FFF or even FFFF are all but great cars outright by their own unique ways. Otherwise, they won't be otr too right:)

Bro, thats way tooo exaggerating what the Bro's thought....

But, can u really question the myvi resale value...? U cannot rite...?? In terms of %, what ever locally made car, or even japanese made car, the myvi depreciation is very2 low already.. Its the champ in resale value.. Way bettering the Proton is a confirmed fact
*
True!

By the way, comparison will never end...we bought Myvi because we all believed in Myvi, it is a better car in terms of almost everything right, almost:)
