If I had the choice, I'd definitely go for acoustic, but in my current situation, I'd have to go with e-drums. Drums LYN Drummers Paradise v4 thread, We Drum We Drum We Drum Drum Drum!!!

QUOTE(syabilng @ Apr 19 2012, 11:34 AM) So depending on how you set it up, the response may differ? I didn't know that. So how do you set it up correctly? I mean to get the best response? I have to loosen up some screws so that the mesh head is just not to bouncy. So it will feel close to the accoustic drum. Of course you need to spent some time adjusting the parameters after that. It just a matter of taste. |

Noobie drummer here...
Can anyone suggest a good twin pedal around RM1k. Doesn't matter if it is new or used. If RM1k won't get me a good twin pedal, how much do I need to top up? Thanks. |

If you like the "standard" feel of pedals then take Rolling Glide if you wanna try something new try power glide.

QUOTE(Air Hendrix @ Apr 21 2012, 08:07 PM) Thank for the reply. Its honestly all up to you. May I know which Iron Cobra model would you suggest for newbie? Power, Rolling or Flexi Glide? What is your take on other make like Gibraltar, DW, Pearl and Yamaha? I used to have a set of Rolling Glides but I've played extensively on the Power Glides as well. The Rolling Glides just seem smoother, while the Power Glides have that extra piece of "ooomph" to the feel of the kick. If you do get more cash on hand, do try the newer Tama Speed Cobras. The Gibraltar pedals are very value for money and are the only "budget" ones that I'd recommend at lower price-points with solid hardware and such. Never really been a fan of the Pearl Eliminators (the 2000) series, but the Demon Drive (the 3000) is very smooth to the touch, and extremely response. The DW9000 (again, probably out of your reach at the moment) are really good pedals that a lot of pros (and other players) use. And right now I'm using a set of Yamaha DFP4500s, the last pedals to be made in Japan, as Yamaha has now moved its production somewhere down south. Really smooth, I like the feel and the hardware, no problems thus far. QUOTE(sunny drummer @ Apr 21 2012, 10:15 PM) Hi, i m new comer.. Juz start learning drum..Do hope can learn from u all..
