Always thought that the pedal and almost all hardware is from Indo. Does it say MIJ anywhere?

Sorry, I meant the DFP9415. I talked to a Yamaha rep and she told me it was from Japan, the last one before it was discontinued.

Recently they've switched to China, I think. HAHA

It's not made in USA either (I'm assuming yours is the higher end ones, 5000 series and above), at least not entirely. It's assembled in USA, and some critical parts are made in USA, but where the rest of the parts come from I didn't manage to read anything concrete on that.

I was doing reading up on the net and checking out pedals a few years back when I wanted to replace my Tama ICs. So this is from my understanding back then. Nothing wrong with being made in China, just don't let the marketing make a fool of ya.

nah its not because its made in china that i sold it off. its because that pedal...well the beater would always go out of place..and the other reason would be I try tweaking it out here and there. But still, I cant find the right feeling for it..lagipun its a direct drive..tidak biasa..haha

thats y im going back to chain. haha.

Even starclassics right now are being made in china..haha except for the omni tune la.

I'm planning to switch to Speed Cobras or maybe the Axis longs, because my feet are rather big, and I've always wanted to try playing heel-toe more comfortably. tongue.gif HAHA

Try arranging for COD. (You go the seller place and see if u're satisfied then buy it) Not sure about shops but I know one guy who sell used kits...try searching Noob Axe Guitars On Facebook.
