The main intention is to save the environment for the sake of the future generations. Not for the benefits of the residents.

You can go and check for more details, but I dare say if these features add troubles to the residents, they not welcome. Features should be added only if make sense.

What troubles? If they are designed properly, I don't see any problem. Other developed countries have been promoting green buildings for some time. We are just starting to embrace the concept. It is nothing new so I think the technology is quite matured already.

If they are designed properly. That's your assumption.

But so far I could only see troubles. Dry season no water to flush toilet. Rainy season no hot water to take bath or water usage comes in 2 bills.

Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that's how GL is implementing it. I am saying we haven't understood how GL implemented it.

Wrong wrong wrong. First of all gbi not using rainwater to flush toilet. Rainwater will be used for landscape. Gbi compliance buildin is an advantage to resident. If they use heat resistance glass, u can save on aircon. Natural lighting will save u on electricity. Solar system if available will be back up with tnb electric supply. Correct? I only blow water with my limited knowledge. Pls check with SA.

If you follow the discussion closely, it was not me who is saying Gamuda's implementation of GBI is to use rainwater to fluash toilet and to provide heated water to respective units. Immediately I said if these are the implementations, I dare say it's practicality is LOW. Then I went ahead to say that the practical use of rainwater and solar heat to for the common area. And people start perceiving me as anti-GBI ! Don't think we need to pray GBI like praying god, there are definitely places where green technology is not practical and there are places where it makes sense.

The only thing I see practical for individual units is the head resistance glass.

And what as Gamuda offered ? Nobody seems to know.

If not mistaken, this has been discussed way way back.

Chess garden, that's a common thing to decorate the garden. Consider it lucky as this one is quite small.

I think before this the plan was to build a half basketball court. Then they realize it may not be suitable for majority of the residents who would prefer a place they can relax & hang out after work. Then they change to this chess garden. But is it practical? If I really like to play chess, I can play it anywhere I like.

exactly, and who in his right mind would play chess this way, by second move, you be be sweating lifting the chess. and this only cater for a pair players at a time. shakehead.gif shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

they did it right to do away the basketball court. The bang noise of the bouncing ball during the nighttime is unbearable.

Is there already a Koi pond ? Just do a simple pond with local Koi (cheaper maintenance) will do. Koi pond looks very fantastic at night with lightings.

Why hard launch when available units is limited? Will there be release of higher floors?
