Im thinking of starting a bare bottom tank..hmm  cool2.gif
Lenez will u explain to us the pros n cons if bare bottom?  hmm.gif
Arrow will u pm me for no planaria powder in lesser quantity? price cincai la  rolleyes.gif

Bare bottom, shrimps have to skate...
Very easy to clean though but to cycle the tank, you gonna use pure ammonia/fish food.
But if you port a aged filter over ,, "tata" instance cycled but have to feed the bacteria straight away else.. sweat.gif

@ sifu Arrow,

is it ok to put the shrimps in iwagumi setup tank?
cause right now, even the yamato don't really like the light too much..

shouldn't be a problem , shrimps really don't like so bright light, provide some hiding place or shade from plants
will do, Yamato's is a thief, shrimps killer, very greedy, always grab and run with foods. i already banned him from all my tanks.

Just my personal opinion,
during start up, put yamato, SAE and otto.
then when the tank is stable, you can donate your yamato and SAE to other member. lol.
yamato and SAE is very very good algae eater. you need them when you start your planted tank. Since shrimps is recommended to introduce when your tank has been matured (mostly 1-2 month), you will face much less algae attack issue if you got yamato and SAE helping.
