No supplement added. any recommendation?
tank already cycled for 1month before i introduce fire red and some crs. i'm using GEX plant soil.
this is shrimp only tank. aeration with air stone & without CO2.
i wonder why they still not settle in?!!  doh.gif
what's wrong with my tank parameter?  rclxub.gif
*
Parameter seem ok,
There are many reasons why they died during molting, possible causes lack of calcium & iodine in diet.
What you normally feed your shrimps?
i do encounter shrimps dead in month old cycled tank. the main suspect is the soil not mature and release ammonia spike when disturbed.
so i make it a habit to vacuum the soil a couple of times to remove excess waste/nutrient(ammonia) which are not needed in shrimps tank,
but it quite risky for you to do it now since you tank already populated.
You can put in seachem Purigen(get the 100g pack) into your filter to help remove organic waste and polish the water, all my tanks have one.
Beside that foods/supplements like Borneowild Vigor & Mosura Gravidas(breeding/molting aid), Borneowild Shield(boost immune system) etc
will do good to your shrimps in long term if you are serious in keeping shrimps.

i feed them BW Grow, Barley & sometimes Stout. also adding BW Shield after WC.
how much that purigen normally cost? how much should i add for 1.5ft/10g tank?
between BW Vigor & Mosura Gravidas which you preferred most personally?
you did sell them in loose right? PM me price smile.gif

yesterday i notice some of the shrimp have tiny whitish thingy like worm on their nose & head
could this lead to my shrimp dead?

Those are parasite, i prefer vigor cos it not soluble like Gravidas , so that i know when they landed.
Ppl claim both Borneowild & Mosura are manufacture by the same company. smile.gif
