I did 50% water change at night for the past 2 days, and got readings pH 6.5-7.0 and NO2 0ppm. Then the next morning, pH5.5-6 and 0.25ppm.

After adding new coral stones to my filter, managed to get constant pH6.5-7.0 now. NO2 also back to 0ppm. Temp is around 27-29 C with cooling fan. Still no signs of berried shrimps.    Could it be my tank is not romantic enough???

Anyway noticed some white worms. Definitely not planaria as these are really very fine. You guys have the same? How to get rid of them? I added 4 Hengel's rasbora in the hope of them eating these worms. 2 actually committed suicide by jumping out of the tank. Anyhow. did notice less visible worms now, or is that subconscious?

When I first got the shrimps, they were more transparent, so can easily see some of them have this yellow/green stuff at their "saddle".
Then they molted a lot and became redder & less transparent, so can't see those stuff on their "saddle" anymore.

Are you guys keeping fish with your shrimps? If yes, what fish?

NO, no fish for me.  errr.. only 5 otto's in my main shrimp tank,  but they look like mini vacuum rather then fish, other shrimps tank no fish at all. except 2 nano tank that keep my wife pet guppies/swordtails. 

actually, im looking for "D" type of tanks dun see much the curve one..my friend can get the the semi "D" tank, not the really curve 1 but between the glass got rubber bracers..
not my type, but if cheap, ill take it as training tank..
and where can get "your suggestion" tank..do u have the picture?

the Genting mountain water rite? every time i go down, i saw many people take the water..especially taxi...
is the water can be great source of my fish tank??
i never knew it was a good water..maybe i ll take some and make a test of it..err the test kit about RM 100??   i thought it was around rm 50..

Wow...I think any shrimp will run the risk of being a snack for the mini lobster (also called a crayfish right?).

The only shrimp dare to live in that tank is Glass shrimp aka feeder shrimps, minimum RM1 per cup. can stand temp 30-31'c , mini lobster -> np we are expendable & disposable.
