Lotus is a selfish company,
where they need help proton to built the engine 1.6l or 1.8l engine for proton...

Normally we saw on the satria or persona at rear bonnet and pasted the handering by lotus logo.

That's just a trusted on proton, cause that model of car have ask lotus company to help up for tested only.

If the lotus can help up for proton and product the best 1.6cc and the engine technology just modify on lotus, then the proton won't facing up the Campro engine on bad FC and underpower performance.

That is what I mean.

Hahahahahaha Lotus testing only? Proton OWNS Lotus. Whatever Proton wants, Lotus must do. That involves developing the suspension for the Proton cars.

And dude, who did you think helped Proton develop the Campro engine?

Let me give you a hint, L_TUS.

Unless, you still think Campro was developed by Renault.

About suspension and handling department no doubt lotus is well known but it is the other way round for engine if i am not mistaken, as they uses toyota engine for their car. So how are they suppose to help proton built engine if they use third party engine?

Lotus Engineering has developed engines for multiple car manufacturers. As for why their cars use Toyota engines, I think others are more knowledgeable than me.

I heard about this many times from Proton owners. SA trying to push the unit they have and give all types of excuses. Proton, try to understand when a car owner wants to books a car, he or she has already decided on a particular colour of the car, please advise your SA to stop pushing the other cars with excuses. I heard the same 15yrs ago and I'm still hearing it from SA.
Proton has a proper booking system, then where is the problem of not able to supply what the customer want ?. Is it from the production side or SA themselves ?

It is the dealership trying to clear their own stock, not necessarily proton ask them to.

And also the allocation units from PESB to dealers. Not just Proton but also other brands, they have same issue. Manufacturers forecast may not align to customers' demand, n that always happen.

Yupp, exactly. The owner at my place explain that he needs to keep have good connection with other dealer to ease the process. He cant order a new batch if the current stock cannot sell. So the dealers will exchange with each other depending on the needs and demands at respective location to keep the flow moving.
