I test drive EBP yesterday. Overall I would give 7-8/10. Agree with most of the good comments said before.
2 things which i noticed was, the pick up is slow after you wait at the traffic light and move, You really have to press the throttle bit harder. 2nd thing is the interior, the door handles looks bit cheap, they are bit sharp on the hand.

Overall it is good buy for 80K. Hope the Proton will take the feed backs seriously.

Thank You V12Kompressor. I am driving a sedan auto now, may be that is why I felt the slow pick up after standstill in EBP. One more test drive on highway and I am almost confirmed buying EBP. Have to look for the bank with best interest rate.

Mat 79, Thank for all explanations here. I have already booked EB after a couple of test drives, just waiting for the delivery. I really feel for the ground staffs of Proton, although the Top Management would have screwed up . I am happy to support Proton one more time and hope this time they will really stand up.

I heard from SA the price for some Proton models with 2012 engine has gone up by RM 200 - 300. Is that true?. Does this include Exora Bold?

I heard about this many times from Proton owners. SA trying to push the unit they have and give all types of excuses. Proton, try to understand when a car owner wants to books a car, he or she has already decided on a particular colour of the car, please advise your SA to stop pushing the other cars with excuses. I heard the same 15yrs ago and I'm still hearing it from SA.
Proton has a proper booking system, then where is the problem of not able to supply what the customer want ?. Is it from the production side or SA themselves ?

Is the change in Management and the uncertainties in Proton affecting its production? It is been 2 months since I have booked EBP and still waiting for delivery. The dealer is unable to give me the answer when we can expect the delivery !. Will it be too difficult for the Proton to calculate estimated time of delivery based on the productions and bookings?

Has anyone here already got Exora Bold Premium?. It is almost 3 months and I am still waiting. It is more frustrating when the dealer is not able to give an estimated date of delivery. All they say is " wait, wait ".
Please Proton buck up on your service to the customers.

V12 Kompressor and others thanks for your comments. I booked my car at proton 3s center. I think I cannot change my booking to the other dealer. Not sure what will happen to my booking fee ?.
Karlbum, luckily I insisted on getting an official receipt for my booking.

Exora bold with loose screws, leaking pipes, loose connections, more hidden business secrets not known to customers . Does this happen to other models of Proton too ?. Hope my EBP will arrive soon in one piece with all the small pieces in place. Sadly it has come to your luck against the quality.

Launching time it was said GT radial rubbers ( maybe from Indonesia ). But it is only 3 months since launch and proton has changed to cheap tyres ? . Hmmm , am I taking another risk in life by buying Proton model?

I heard the seat colour is standard for EB, it does not change with the body colour.

Things I noticed with EBP
I feel the slight rocking of the driver seat when you brake.
The engine RPM stays at 1 even when you stop at traffic lights.
The horn sounds like a ship
Remote control lock and unlock sounds are very soft. Sometimes you are not sure if you have locked the car or not.
High engine sound outside was expected. But it gets more louder when you switch your aircon on.
Anything I mention to my inexperienced SA . He says " the car comes like that "

I like
The space inside the car
Pick up in the low gears.
Sound system ( Good for the car price )
Stability of the car. Handling and braking has been good
Air con is good and i like the flow outlets for the 2 back row seats

I have not checked on DVD player. No complaint from my kids.

So far I am satisfied with the buy. What happens in next few months and how the SC service my car?..Wait and see.

You hear the sound when you are outside. I don't hear much sound when inside the car.

You are right , I never own Campro engine . Thanks for the reassurance. Looks I just have to get used to the sound.

[COLOR=purple]I notice another new problem yesterday,when the car hits a pot hole ( road condition near my housing area is bad) there is an electric "izzz" kind of sound coming from the front passenger side . Why is this?[COLOR=purple]

Today morning my wife asked me why the engine sound is still on even after she switched it off?. Thanks to this forum and the members here, I reassured her it is due to the cooler and nothing to worry about.

My EBP is less than a month old. I noticed the the temp bar ( not air con temp ) is 3-4 bars in the morning and when driving. Is this normal ?

I also noticed you cannot wind the the 2nd row seat window all the way down. It winds down to only 80%

The sound after switch off the engine is sometimes there and sometime not. Hope this sound will go off latter. Thank You Mat79, I will check on the radiator coolant on my next service .

My EBP, FC is around 12.7km/L. I tried to drive around 80KM speed and keep the RPM around 2. But at times I noticed I reach 100Km even with a light press. This I like about EBP

I just send my car for service. They found the tyre pressure was too high around 40, so they had to reduce to 34. Now I notice the allingment lari. The car is swaying to left now. I had to keep the steering a bit right to keep my car going straight . I had to visit the SC again.

Regarding the rocking driver seat. They said it is normal. I had ask them to check with the HQ

I was told the GPS is upgraded version for the last batches of EBP. I have not seen the previous GPS.
