I am not an advocate of FF but I don't think CF is any much better at all.

Whatever shit this blog mentioned about FF hardly applies to my experience.
Personally I've been to both CF and FF.
Ultimately it all depends what you're looking for, and which outlet do you go to...

but really, the bright light in fitness first is quite similar to my office..after long stressful day in office and work out in another environment similar to office?

the soft drink there bloody unhealthy, we go to the gym to improve our health right or enjoy the sugary drinks? worst still, fitness first consultant told me they are more expensive because they provide soft drinks.

I prefer the bright lighting at fitness first rather than the disco style dim lighting in other gyms actually.

Because only people who likes to complaint usually comes here to post. The rest rather used that time to actually go to the gym and work out.

And about the soft drinks, it is personal preferance. Its not like they did not provide coffee and tea and regular boiled water as well. Variety is always welcomed in my book. And people who lifts appreciate the additional sugary drinks since it give them an energy boost. The only one who would complaint about that would probably be fatties who wants to lose the fat, but keep having to see those soft drinks taunting them.

Most people who go there usually work around KLCC / Pavi and etc one.

Parking rates have nothing to do with the amount of people at peak hour lol.

You need to talk to the consultant incharge.

You may get the penalty charges for terminate before contract ended (although you intend to do so before it get started). I am not too sure what will you end up with.

what kind of ghetto gym can't even provide decent key system for the lockers... FFS even FF use cards to lock/unlock the lockers these days...

I had spoken to the consultant but they wanted me to produce letter to indicate my relocation status (which I felt unhappy as they have 7 days guarantee - I'm consumer but they wanted me to show the letter to proceed termination)

LMAO reading the blog. Anyway just because we didn't comment doesn't mean there's no supporters. Sometimes when dumb blog post like this appear, I'm just kinda stumped.

You see, everyone have different preference when it comes to gym. Some likes a huge freestyle area that FF paradigm can provide while some don't appreciate that because they don't use it. There are people who likes the juice bar while some don't.

Thing is, the soft drinks are there. If you can't resist the temptation, then I'd say it's the individual's problem, not the gym. You can always opt for green tea or the black coffee (without sugar).

FF has water as well - your option, cold, warm or even hot. 3 options. the writer forgot to include that in. I'd say +3 to FF for that.

WELL THE COMMENT ON GX/ CLASSES IS JUST BIAS. Some instructors freelance and they also teach at CF/ TF/ GF. Sometimes there are new instructors. FF instructors are just as awesome as the others!!! IMHO we are one of the club with most awesome instructors *my bias-ness*

BESIDES, note that the reviews were written in 2011. A number of things had improved. Last but not least, I hope you read the last part. Yawn.



Damn it, the rest of them here couldn't even bother to defend or argue 'coz they know how dumb this is. A totally one-sided review from the start, not even close to being neutral or objective LOLL. And oh boy, talking about the shower, PFFFT. FF ftw.

I'm a FF fan and it's close to 2 years already. Never regret my Plat membership though it's not cheap. It's worth it for the quality and service. I have been to numerous gyms for their open day be it TF, GF or even CF. There's only one place I call home - FF.

AND OH, SINCE YOU BELIEVE THE BIASED REVIEWS, IT'S FINE WITH US. STAY WHERE YOU ARE, AS LONG AS IT MAKES YOU HAPPY, K.

I went to CF Bkt Rimau with a couple of FF kaki. The GX environment is not bad, bright lights etc but it's quite small. I think what appalled me and my friends was that there's hardly any chair to sit. We're quite used to hanging out at the lounge after workout to cool down before showering. Believe it or not, we ended up sitting at the empty treadmill

And the shower. Since it's only shower curtain and I'm so not used to it... I thought that certain cubicle was mine. I accidentally drew the curtain to someone's cubicle while she's showering my gosh, the salah-ness.

Nothing wrong about females accidentally drawing the curtains for showers but it would be very disturbing if that were to happen to males.

At least a glass door would prevent people from making such a terrible mistake.

FF is not without its faults. No gym is perfect but when a review is not objective, it is so unacceptable

Hey hey, female also get angry one leh. If someone opened my curtain while i'm showering I wouldn't be happy too. That's why i just had a quick shower there, all the while making sure my clothes stick out over the curtain bar to signify there's someone inside. It's more of an invasion of privacy. Nothing feels more secure than having a DOOR. FF has a DOOR!

Yeah, opening the shower curtain/ door, it's an invasion of privacy.
