If you don't go to other branch, just take the house membership.
I took platinum and kinda regret it since I only use the one in Avenue K/Menara MBF....
Hardly got time to go to Curve or Mont Kiara.

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Apr 23 2013, 04:52 PM) I agree... so basically we paid Platinum fee yet for pretty unimportant things. I hardly see anyone use the computers. I tried using it once and had problem with it. Started to panic when I couldn't log out of my FB! Visited Paradigm mall ( Ungodly location but I was there for lunch with some friends so no choice )For this weekend's Health & Fitness Exhibition (in KLCC), FF staffs will be doing BOKWA demonstration but there's no BOKWA GX Class and there's no 'rumour' or 'update' from Instructors/ on noticeboard that they'll introduce a new class. Makes me wonder... Paradigm FF is so new (just opened few months ago), facilities and machines has to be in working order. If it's not, then they have a problem. Quite nice environment and very little people still, esp compared to Avenue K around 3~5. Could dominate the machines, strut around with nobody blocking me at all |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 25 2013, 07:49 PM) You're a freelance or student? So free... can workout before 5 on weekday...! Haha. I'm doing a professional paper, this, flexible hours to both work or study.Yes, One Club member (after you've been with FF for more than 10 months) can automatically bring a friend for workout on weekends Old rate is good, wished I joined FF several years ago -.- Not really busy on weekdays, that's why. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 30 2013, 10:48 AM) lol only recently? But so jealous, I have to miss out a lot of 6.30 classes because I finish work at 6.30pm. Lol. That's the bad part bout working Same like KOHIT, i'm also paying RM201 (inclusive of 6% GST). Parking shouldn't cost you too much, how many hours do you plan to workout in a day? And how many days you're going to gym in a week? If I'm not mistaken, Empire costs RM2 for 2 hours? That's what I've been paying when I'm there. Aeon Bkt Tinggi much cheaper on weekday, only RM1 because 1st hour is free. FF Platinum is expensive I'm not really a fan of classes, so yeay! For the house membership, it's around 140 IIRC. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 30 2013, 10:58 AM) No work, no money for membership I'm sure you are working a very important job then Yeah if you're not into classes, anytime is fine. I'm always in a rush to leave office and I'd get ticked off when someone calls me at 6.25pm. Omg house membership cheap! I've got a friend who only enrol for weekend membership (allows you to go in on Friday evening, Sat & Sun) costs her RM120 permonth. Mine allows me to leave anytime as long i've finished the paper work. Besides, tax seasons are over, time to recoup loss time on work and spend it on daily life QUOTE(KOHTT @ Aug 30 2013, 11:00 AM) Few months back, the Axis consultant told me home membership is RM15X/++ (excluding tax) Few months back too, I was told it's MYR 140 before tax.The paradigm FF consultant told me RM16X.++ (excluding tax) because is a new outlet. It should not be that cheap unless you joined FF few years back. Nowadays, I'm not even sure how much it is already. |

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 30 2013, 11:52 AM) lol no one is irreplaceable in an organization. And I'm way underpaid. No point complaining, let's see what's next. I'm underpaid too! Most 9-6pm job is fixed ^^; unless it's part time/ flexi hours job. Yeap, which is why I don't really want to work for office hours. Way prefer Flexi hours. At least can come in late and go home late |

QUOTE(KOHTT @ Aug 30 2013, 12:24 PM) There is saying from other gyms members that FF members are "generally" either more well paid or willing to spend $$ than them... LOL.Reason is that because FF members are willing to paid higher fees for the gym.... So, if both of you are underpaid is a bit I pay more for location tbh. I'm very very very lazy to move around with a car in KL, esp peak hour. Thus, using LRT saves my petrol, at a slightly higher monthly fees. Rather not suffer epic jams from 5~7 every day I'm really underpaid QUOTE(jtl @ Aug 30 2013, 01:06 PM) Nah, about 160++If you know some insider, maybe 140 or something. I was offered 140 last time. |

QUOTE(Mr Kong @ Aug 30 2013, 10:02 PM) Wow. It seems that everyone is paying the same fees which is weird. I read the True Fitness post on LYN and it seems that everyone is paying a different price in True Fitness. So the fees in FF cannot be negotiated? Ain't that good? It's on the high side though. How are the machines in FF empire? Has anyone been there? Are there any personal trainer? Sorry to ask a lot of questions because to be honest, I do not believe what sales people say. They will promise the world but it comes to delivering, normally it's That means the fees are uniformed and you are not getting "trolled" to pay extra for the same thing compared to others. I can't really tell you bout Empire Subang but generally the machines are quite decent in the newer FF branches. As for PT, look at their PT section at Empire. I'm sure you can find a PT that suits you, albeit the price might be on the high side. |

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Aug 31 2013, 09:08 AM) Almost 2 years already lol. Don't really go for classes so don't know the instructors either. Place still packed on peak hours? I thought you need to be with FF for at least 10 months before you can automatically summon a guest with you during weekends? Tbh I wouldn't mind rejoining. ContrAct with gorgeous gonna end and no way I'm gonna renew lol. See how. Now contemplating which one lol. Go to empire listen to their sales pitch and ask for a trial before joining. Insist on it. They give you 7 days to try out the place no questions asked if u not keen. Ya ff is on the high side but at least you know there isn't any hanky panky lobang stuff you're missing out on. Everyone pays the same. 1 club membership allows you to bring guests during weekends is pretty useful too. As for pt. Ask what they planning to do for you before even signing up. AsK ask ask. Make sure you get a competent reliable one. |

QUOTE(Cattitude @ Sep 4 2013, 03:02 PM) ff wannabe signed in. Probably Sweet_pez which works very close to there I am going to join ff at Paradigm Mall soon. Anyone here is frequent Paradigm Mall ff member? Occasionally, I visit there for fun too. Get a plat membership so you can switch clubs easily. QUOTE(Eve90 @ Sep 6 2013, 08:51 PM) Why not? As long as you go to a gym that is near your work place and you don't start work at like.... 8am? Idk what you do in gym, but I would be dead exhausted after I'm done with my regime, thus, reducing my productivity for work, if there's any. This post has been edited by chiahau: Sep 6 2013, 09:27 PM |
