Hi MK2KLand,

We cannot expect flood on a Sunny Day. smile.gif

I dont want to get stuck everytime i visit my sister in Viola. The cars just stop thinking shall they proceed and taking time doing thier calculation and making decisions on shall they continue, will they make it with no water pouring into the car and what is the risk. That is what i had to do.wait for the front car move and see the impact.

I been there too during rainny day and i am damn worried about this situation.Being the only road to enter Viola from the Tol.

Why this does not happen to Canting on the same time. What Road ad Drainage System advantages they have which we dont have.Is it because there was a tasik nearby.Does not make sense.

Maybe the developer just need to abit cleaning up on the current Drainage system to make sure it works effectively.Giving lame answers like i been there everything is fine is not going to gurantee its not going to happen again.

Please understand we want to improve things here.

Wendy, everybody has theirs' priority concern when purchasing a property, I do consider sea level elevation as my major concern when buying a house. Pls proceed to buy somewhere on higher ground. For those who hv vested theirs interest in AI are aware of this issue, retention ponds is a criteria for every township now, but sometime it is just not enuf to solve a major flood, KL SMART project also has loophole, I am forecasting that another round of heavy flood in KL is going to happen. cool2.gif

sea level elevation alone not enough....it also depends on the drainage system, retention ponds, the overall land elevation around there, existence of river, etc.

Flooding problem mentioned in some discussions seem to be a bit exaggerated, IMO. I have been living in TTDI AI for one year and drive to office in Sunway every working days. And I only face
1) water stagnant on the road near second roundabout to TTDI AI after raining. The water stayed there for a few days afterward and I&P(I guess) fixed it already. No more problem.
2) Water pouring on the road and flooded near first roundabout to TTDI during raining. The water one the road was cleared again a few minutes after raining. It's only problematic during heavy rain and I never had to wait for it even with my old Satria, very low car. The water on the road maybe 3-6 inch maximum during heaviest raining time. The drainage is working; however, could not cope with heavy down pour. he elevation in that section is also the lowest and all water on the whole road may come down to that during raining. I&P needs to look into it again since the road started showing big holes in that area.

There is no way we could have flooding in TTDI AI area. The drainage system in TTDI AI is perfectly working and I don't see any sign of flooding in Spira even in the heaviest raining day. And the elevation of of TTDI AI above sea level are
1) 40-70 ft for Spira
2) 45-65 ft for Viola
3) 80-100 ft for Aquina and Sephira

For comparison, Sri Muda and Section 17(not sure) across the Klang river from TTDI AI elevation are just 15-20 ft. We will have a chance to get flooded after all houses in those area are fully under water.

Dear anti_gaara

Can i know who fix the drainage.Did u see it.Can i have the respective contact or department so that i can find out my self.Thanks.

By the way, no one needs to listen to anyone when it comes to a forum.

If this does not improve this might be a drop back for the property raise. I do not want my sister's property to be effected.I am a potential buyer of a subsale as well.

If i am going to buy a bunglo for 2.2 million and when i have a function,i and am family not going to be happy.G&G alone is not enough.

Hi Naing,

Perhaps it should be mention as water stagnant is a big manner rather than describing it as flood. But the point is the cars cant move.

Are you telling that i am creating stories. If i cant highlight things which need to be improve than why do we need a forum.how are we going to improve things.Or maybe your'll are happy as far can resale the property. but sorry i am not like that.my sister live there now.

Malaysia is a freedom country.i know my rights.I share with a purpose to improve things.Thanks.

About flood, well it is indeed a concern, ONLY at the roundabout during heavy pours. I dont think the houses in TTDIAI are in danger. Last time I checked, in December 2011, still the roundabout area is flooding but not as bad as Wendy described.

Of course I want this issue to be resolved as well. Same goes to the issue of people parking next to the main park tepi jalan at the first roundabout. For me this is a bigger issue than the puddle issue.

The reason I chose TTDIAI over InP is because of the facade. Of course people are saying "there must be a reason why InP sold that piece of land to NazaTTDI". The InP SA even lied to me that TTDI area floods a lot, not realising I bought one there.

But I dont think NazaTTDI ppl are that stupid not to know of the potential problems. I'm sure the issues are resolved (or being resolved). Sometimes forumers say things like the developers are mere tools and fools. What forumers should always bear in mind that the developers are the experts and should be afraid of the reputational risks involved when selling their products. Of course they are not gods. But that doesn't mean they know shit about what theyre doing.

If we are sincere about trying to make the area a better place to stay, stop repeating it here as if you are parading the faults of the developers without concerning the effects of ppl's perception after the badmouthing was done. I'm sure the owners here will take it with a pinch of salt. What you should do is to complain to the right channel, like Encik Yusuf, for whatever defects we are facing.

Say things with the right intention. Women don't like to be compared with other women by their partners. There are pros and cons in virtually any development.

Hi Wendy,

I am not accusing you anything. I am just sharing my experience and opinion as you do in this forum. I even put my observations in detail so that anyone can relate it to their own interpretation.
FYI, I have been in Spira since the beginning and bought it for long term stay. No reason to say nice things about TTDI AI for getting profit as you suggested.
And I believe that I&P is incharge of the problematic area, you could complain it to them directly for us. We will be more appreciated.

According to TTDI office, the road to TTDI AI is maintained by I&P so the drainage problem shd be rectified by I&P. They also mentioned the other 2 lanes of the road not open due to I&P no project around that area yet.
The second roundabout water build up during heavy rain is something that can be resolved easily since it is on high ground. Residents just need to highlight this issue to developer who responsible. I m sure they will fix it in no time as there hv many more phases to sell.

I guess high tension power lines act as border line between I&P and TTDI. You can see it from land scraping along the road to TTDI AI.

If thats the case, the roundabout falls under I&P's jurisdiction.

Hi Jeghui,

Excuse me,can i know what do you mean with this statement "Women don't like to be compared with other women by their partners".

Hi Naing,

I dont understand why so many questions on my personal observation on the water stagnent.I should had snap some pictures to prove it.

I think need to start a new forum for Viola, atleast there everyone is open for improvement and everyone is allowed to speak out thier concern.

Hi Naing,

Just because you are staying in Spira from beginning that does not mean the water stagnent never took place and will not happen in future.

I dont understand the mentality of the forumer over here. They dont co operate to work together to get things solve.but just talk and dont accept other forumer feedback.

Can i have your address at Spira.I might want to pay you a visit with my husband to discuss certain things in person.

If this is the mentality i feel there is no need for me to take the extra effort with my husband support to get this water stagnent solved.
If i am going to highlight another issue off water stagnent along the roads which causing more mosquito,i might get a feedback that these are all male mosquito's and they dont take blood from humans.

Dear Wendy,

Other forumers has no intention in stopping you posting what you saw. You are free to tell what you saw and experienced as other forumers also have their rights to tell what they experienced. If someone say something different than what you said doesnt mean they indicate you make up your story. Sometime we cannot be too sensitive in forum as different ppl has different views. When it gets personal it will become irrational.
Since your sister going to stay there, it is more constructive if your can bring this issue to developer for the benefit of the community.
Snap some photos if you happen to see the same issue again, it would definitely help to illustrate the problem to developer.

Hi Wendy,

I am not questioning your observations on water stagnant on the road during raining. I already stated that it happens regularly; however, it only becomes serious till need to think to cross the flood when rain heavily. I only faced the serous situations 2-3 times in a year. It's not happening regularly. That's what I am trying to say. You came to TTDI AI maybe a few times maximum and faced the problem. Unlucky for you.
And we had a similar problem near a roundabout next to TTDI AI and it was fixed. I am sure I&P will fix this problem soon. But how soon will be depending on complains made so I asked you to help us by complaining it to I&P if you really want to get the problem fixed quickly.
I don't understand why you are asking my address. Regulars from this forum knows who I am and where I live in Spira. Like you said, the forum is for everyone and you should not be getting personal if we don't agree with your idea.

Hi Cyrix,

When i raise my concern and when a group of forumer keep deny they never experience it what does this mean. It make it looks like i am making up stories.

I can see alot of Chair Politicians around. They will sit and talk to the maximum but when comes to ground work there is total silient. No guts to even PM me thier detials and address.

Why should i take the extra mile helping. What is my benefit helping.
