Added on May 14, 2012, 7:23 pmall the asus staff useless and noob..i think we can solve the problem faster than them, only problem is that if we fix ourselves, warranty void..so the warranty is the only reason we depend on them..stupid sc at penang..anyways CONGRATZ THAT YOU GET REFUND..toshiba is not good bro..one of my family member have bad experience with qosmio. but maybe the new model wont have problem and toshiba is expensive too for the same spec compared to asus..dell everything good, except expensive and very low spec.dell expensive kerana ada nama(alienware)..asus is good, and best spec st that price, but the shit service centre..all got kebaikan and keburukan.

Regarding this case,
I have called Mr Lee the owner of the notebook,
He has previously send in 2 times,
As attachment is the dealer give customer the refrence,
And after I check this unit 1st got log in case,
And 2nd times is just change the code of it, so didn’t log in cases,
Now that include this time is 3rd times,
But havnt seem to create case, dunno whether dealer have take the unit to RCMY_PG,
So that the customer wanted to refund for this unit,
Any advice.

Tomorrow will be officially 2 weeks since we ordered our laptop.

Replacing the Hard disk drive with SSD will not void the warranty, however adding/upgrading the mSata will void ur laptop warranty. Though, it is already a hassle ripping apart most of the screws.

That's not good.

U have more issue than usual. I don't have such issue.
My Mushkin RAM works fine and it even have D9 Chips lol.

The default ROG backpack allows me to fit my G53 and my office Vostro 13 at once. Not issue.

Ur usage not even heavy. Unless ur running multiple simulators simultaneously. 8GB of ram is sufficient already unless ur hitting 70-80% Physical Memory with 8GB of RAM. SSD is a better investment, though i'm still allocating budget to swap both 5400rpm HDD for SSD in my G53SX. Already given my M4 SSD to my desktop as boot and development drive solely.

how much it costs you to swap both to ssd??

fully support u...asus KL royal center service is very very bad.

my asus g53jw totally made 2 RMA ady

1st is within 1 week buy the G53JW from US, the harddisk spoil, nvm , then sent to KL to claim a new harddisk back
2nd overheat problem made my laptop cant normal start and fan got moving but show nothing, and before claim the 2nd RMA, the LED got red colour issue too....and this 2nd RMA took me 3 weeks time and 2mrw my laptop will be back..so what i want to angry about is, within this 3 week, i made more than 6 call, cauz they dint reply me any thing through mail or call, i ask them, they blame back to HQ pulak

I highlighted I am allocating budget to swap both of the 5400 rpm hdd to SSD. At the meantime observe the SSD market for now. Crucial m4 already costed me rm5xx previously.

G53SX comes with DDR3 1333 ram default. Normally CPU-z , u'll find it listed as PC10600 or PC10700 something like that , would refer to DDR3 1333.
