No comment, but i assume they are using more bandwidth for LTE-A as their LTE-A is around 225mbps as advertised? DiGi Fans Club & Enquiries V9, Always the smarter Choice

My location is at Menara Amfirst PJ
The 4G tower here don't even have Cell ID And there is only 1 tower I can see so far in my range. Still only able to connect to only LTE and not LTE-A with my Note 5 with Digi so far. Disappointing abit... |

Digi announces new high-speed mobile broadband plans
QUOTE New high-speed mobile broadband plan that leverages on its Fourth Generation Long-Term Evolution (4G-LTE) and 4G LTE-Advanced (4G-LTE-A) network to provide reliable high-speed Internet access. In a statement today, the mobile network operator said these new broadband plans give customers access to the high-speed internet, while on the go through DiGi’s new LTE-A capable MobiFi device. The two new plans under its mobile broadband offering, Broadband 145 and 185, offer 50GB and 100GB internet quota respectively and will be available to customers beginning April 1, 2016. Digi’s MobiFi device allows its customers to create their very own WiFi hotspot, and share the internet with up to 10 devices, including non-4G LTE-A enabled devices. http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/d...?type=Corporate |

QUOTE(Qash-M @ Apr 1 2016, 12:26 AM) oh like that eh. btw how one can finish using 50GB per month QUOTE(JJKTP @ Apr 1 2016, 10:35 AM) And for the 100GB package, only 30GB set as all day data. The remaining 70GB can only be used between 2 AM - 8 AM which is just insane. lol it's same like Maxis lor. off peak hour (2am-8am) |

It's time for other telcos to follow DiGi on the throttled speed after exceeding the monthly quota. Most telcos cap speed at around 64kbps which is almost unusable. At 512kbps, it is back like Streamyx days but at least should still be usable.
