My current plan is iDigi50, contract free now. I got 2gb Data, 150mins call and 300 sms (100 domestic/200 digi-digi) for RM53 include gst also free Music Freedom. Now is that worthy to upgrade to unlimited call RM65 plan? current Smartplan 50 got no Music Freedom, so not worthy for me to get it using Iphone 6s plan.

What will happened when promo end? Almost upgrade plan this evening, but suddenly realized my bil already begin new cycle. Afraid got double charge by Digi. Tmorrow still can go make if I want. Even tho I'm not making much call, but unlimited call is kinda good. I can be the follow up guy via call instead of whatsapp. Hype.

Depends on your needs.

For example, I have one phone which needs:
1. Receive calls, no need to make calls
2. Whatsapp or Line (64kbps internet only)
3. Stream music from Spotify, 988 etc
4. For the whole year at min cost

For this I use Digi Best with Super Long Life, Internet Club & Music Freedom.

Total cost: Less than RM50 for the 1 year.
*
Oo.. like that even possible?

You can use it for anything, it's basically a 64kbps data plan for life, 1GB/mth quota. You can still browse but takes awhile to load. Google.com is actually quite usable. So is Apple Maps. Waze probably not since it chokes even on EDGE. Spotify takes a awhile to startup but music is nice and smooth once it starts streaming. Youtube also works but it's like watching a Powerpoint slideshow with a presenter who talks a lot between slides. Btw 64kbps is actually ISDN speed which used to be FAST many years ago. :-)

Digi Super Long Life is RM38/yr. Digi Internet Club has a one-time reg free of RM10. Though when I subscribed a few weeks ago, the RM10 wasn't deducted from my credit. Dunno why.

On Jan 1, I loaded RM50. My phone sent an SMS to activate iMessage (-0.5), subscribed SLL (-38), haven't made a call/SMS since and balance now is still RM11.51. (I had RM0.01 credit when I ported in.)

More info in this thread. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3803865

how to subscribe?

QUOTE(raynman @ Jan 18 2016, 04:52 AM)
Waze is usable on a 64kbps connection.

Google Maps not so.

Not 100% sure but I believe so. Go to the USSD menu and see if the option there.
*
I currently with Tunetalk, alse extended to 1 year validity. But Tunetalk got no free basic internet yet. Also just recently requested for nano sim required me to topup rm50. Remaining credit almost rm100 already. Yet unable to check with USSD as I got no prepaid Digi. Thanks for info, digi prepaid would be better with such setup.

I said i planned getting the rm65 postpaid promotion with free calls.

THe sales man said ok. there is no charges among change new plan after full contact.

just now i received i been charged RM200 for what>?

Rm200 seems like penalty for your contracted plan. Normally if your plan only left 2 months or less, the penalty will be waived, only at Digi Centre. Other Digi outlet, you need to claim the penalty from Digi, and the RM200 will be returned within 2 months.

You may go scold the salesman, if you're firm it's his fault.

It mostly depends, but Umobile actually using DC-HSPA+ whereas DiGi is only using HSPA+. In a perfect world Umobile can double DiGi's speed. Plus DiGi network is not the best in KL.
*
imo number of user for those area do some affect for the internet speed. like me here at hometown Besut, when any holiday or weekend, internet speed usually dropped. Most likely people coming back hometown too.

Since many of Digi user here using plan rm65 and above, wanna ask about iflix 12 months subscription only using via digi network right? If so, for sure data will suck up fast. Or I can just watch using the account on laptop? I don't see any login when I activated 12 months free iflix digi account.

Oh found that on Digi site, we only need to download the app using Digi network.
We can always use wifi to stream iflix. Now I can just view on Chromecast.

I just recently move from iDigi50 to Smartplan65v (unlimited call + 3gb data), today I went to Digi Store requesting to upgrade to Smartplan75v.
The staff told me I need to use current Smartplan65v for at least 1 month before I can switch again.

Well, I just switched from SM 65V to SM65 more internet just last week.

I contacted Digi thru their twitter and said there was no cooldown.

So I called Digi CS and finished upgrading under 5 mins.
*
Hmm, I wonder why is that Digi Store near my place said cooldown 1 month usage. Maybe it's about commision?
If I terminate current account they got no %? Now I'm looking for online Digi agent to do the upgrade.
My current 3gb still lots left. I wonder if 7gb really necessary. How's your usage?
