Any comments on Digi LTE speed and stability?
Their digi 98 plan looks very tempting 10gb data
Also does digi have service to share data?
Considering to port out from Maxis

QUOTE(dino89 @ Mar 30 2016, 08:05 AM) Any comments on Digi LTE speed and stability? It is depending on your phone too besides pending on digi network congestion.Their digi 98 plan looks very tempting 10gb data Also does digi have service to share data? Considering to port out from Maxis I am sitting together with my fren and both of us having redmi 2 but mine is enhanced version. I can get 60mbps for LTE while his managed to get 30mbps MAX. Better let us know the model you using before seeing other ppl speedtest If you are using flagship model, then ur speed will be >70mbps when u are in LTE-A coverage... OK.... about the speedtest.... Just take the speedtest at 9am... nearby USJ... using huawei honor 6 (should be normal LTE) This post has been edited by prosibu: Mar 31 2016, 06:53 AM |

There is some issues with Digi among Note 5 users. Not much issue with Maxis and Note 5. So it's sometimes is device dependent also. I ported from Maxis to Digi recently and I must tell u I am not impress with the speed n service I am getting thus far. Just my 2 cents.

I'm using Note 5 N9208 sim1 digi and sim2 hotlink. I port in to digi from Maxis>Celcom>digi. Stability, speed and coverage here in Kelantan not much different. |

The signal strength and speed drops dramatically. Unfortunately Maxis wont offer a better plan unless you threaten to port out. And they will wait till the very last minute where it will sent u an sms to confirm to port out or not and u reply YES, only then someone will call u later to counter. Its sad but that is how they wanted to play it.That was the reason i ported out to Maxis in the first place, but that was like 5+ years ago But looking at their current plan offers, its like so good compared to my current Surfmore 75 Tempted to port over if Maxis does not offer me a better plan Just need to check out their supp lines and data sharing now, as I am curently sharing my data with my iPad |

Its sad but that is how they wanted to play it. most providers in malaysia are serving LTE on band 7 which is on 2600Mhz. maxis and celcom has slightly better indoor signal as they have access to band 3 (1800Mhz) too, and digi recently started serving LTE on band 3. but until they move to lower frequency band (900Mhz or less), signal penetration will be weak. |

Digi implementing 1800mhz almost whole country cities n townsThere are limited 2600mhz compared to maxis n celcom. If you still getting weak digi LTE coverage but 3g coverage is ok, that means the site nearby you is not upgraded to LtE site. I hv explained here quite many times. If you wanna check u are on 1800mhz or 2600mhz, install gnettrack n check the cellid, 1xx is 2600mhz while 1800mhz is 2xx range. For easier checking, u may go digi coverage map to check the LTE- A coverage. LTE- A coverage are mostly combination of 2600mhz and 1800mhz while normal LTE coverage are using 1800mhz |
