I've also just installed Opera Max, when I untick WiFi usage means WiFi usage will not route through their VPN is it?

If I only have the IDD Internet Club which is supposed to be a slow speed one, even when I use Opera Max passed it will be the same speed right? Only difference is it should not count towards my data?

Any response from Celcom? Usually Celcom's extra selling point was the ability to carry forward some unused data but now DiGi is about to do the same.
As for DiGi, if only they revise their pricing and also validity for additional data topup. Celcom's Max Up is really value for money whenever one needs extra data. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 1 2016, 02:21 PM) Allow me to use cars to describe our local telcos But I think Celcom isn't really in the Beemer range with Maxis. Probably one rank lower like Volkswagen. Overall in Boleland, Maxis & Celcom areĀ Beemer - Luxurious to use but be prepared for disappointments as well DG is a Pug - Good but reliability issues Umobile at best is only a JDM - Nothing special, gets its job done with occasional hiccups? The rest like XOX,Tunetalk .....are only Protong or Mawiii This post has been edited by OKLY: Mar 1 2016, 02:32 PM |

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Mar 1 2016, 08:08 PM) Yes it's the same page but the other one straight away loads the coverage map while the one I posted does not load the coverage map.QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 1 2016, 08:13 PM) Postpaid 98 with 10GB + free calls & rollover internet is a Killer directly aimed at Maxis rm99 10GB with no free calls [ old plan] Too bad DiGi is not generous enough with their additional top up quota. RM20 for 1GB and only valid for 7 days. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 2 2016, 08:36 AM) If you study DG's latest pricing, they directly attacked Maxis Plan [ because they have the largest numbers of Postpaid customers ] while keeping Umobile"s generous offerings. DiGi will be expecting more port-in, hopefully their network is ready to handle additional load and congestion. With this latest offerings, more customers will switch over from UM & Maxis , we will see how significant will be the numbers soon. Umobile on the other hand have users complaining network congestion due to the numerous migration from other telcos during their U28 & P70 offerings which was consider value for money during the initial launch but sadly its not that attractive anymore now looking at DG's & Celcom's latest offerings. As usual Celcom is always a tad higher on Network availability , you even you can make calls 2 levels underground [ carpark ] when other telcos failed......... |

QUOTE(digilife @ Mar 2 2016, 08:49 PM) Maxis change over of Cell Towers are seamless, meaning your voice calls & data like whatsapp incoming wont get interrupted. Pretty obvious when using Waze, I tend to get "Searching for Network" from Waze although there's coverage, I believe this happens when a connected cell tower is handing over to another tower.DG change over of cell towers sometimes sucks. |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Mar 4 2016, 09:20 PM) Reloaded my UMobile Prepaid on 2nd Mar noon so that it's active. Submitted MNP to Digi at 5pm. Next day at 1pm, got SMS from UMobile saying MNP failed due to line not active. Called UMobile to clarify, said it's their system error and will escalate to whatever team. 3 working days. *sigh* U Mobile is not very fast when it comes to customer port-out. Mine had no issues but took about 2-3 days as well. |
