I wanna know whether my prepaid number status inactive for how long if i still haven't reload to keep them active? Within 3 months?
As far as I know, the grace period is 90 days for all DiGi plans except the new Best plan (which has only 75 days).

Call DiGi to check the termination date, or use the My DiGi app to login to OCS > Account Info > Account Expiry Date.

Hi people, I'm having problems sending out SMS since a week ago and I'd really like to ask if anyone else is having this problem???

I can receive SMS without any problem by the way.

I'm using the Galaxy Nexus, did a full wipe, changed custom ROM, updated to a new baseband and it's still the same.

Would just like some other solutions or just clarifications if possible? laugh.gif Thanks

Have you tried your sim card in another phone?

Is the sms center number set in your sms settings?

See the Message Centre in the pic here (the number may differ as DiGi got a few such numbers)

Amazingly there's no such thing in the Settings menu under Messages for Android 4.2.1 shocking.gif

You can check the settings for Sending Profile or Default Profile. Otherwise, I recommend you call or visit DiGi. They may be able to send you over the air. Definitely you cannot send SMS without this number. It is programmed into the sim though your phone may need to copy it from the sim card.

Great. Welcome. Changing this number can really mess your life up. Not a bad thing if it's less easy to find.

DiGi are about half way through their network upgrade that was supposed to be completed by end of 2012.

Where's your exact location?

Finally the xperia s is restocked. Sadly cannot buy because cannot upgrade from my digi prepaid to smartplan. The thing I cannot brain is that if prepaid from other telco, can use mnp to dmartplan, but not from digi prepaid...

I have been arguing with DiGi on the similar matter since they introduced Easy plan in 2010. Wanted to update my Best number to Easy. DiGi just said no many times. Even filed complaint to CFM. And still DiGi insist prepaid users are not allowed to change plan, without any explanation of that policy. Finally, I have given up and gonna let that DiGi line lapse in March. I decided that DiGi simply do not deserve my business.

I can assure you CS is totally wrong on that. No version of Best can switch to Easy. And no version of Easy can switch to Best. All those plans can do is update to the latest version of the same plan and after that cannot change again. If DiGi wanted to limit switching between these two plans, they could just allow only one-time change.

ok, I got it now. thanks biggrin.gif

my error was that by "new DG prepaid" I assumed you meant "latest Best". that way, "old Best" would fall under your term "any other prepaid plan".

I'm fully aware that we can port out of DG and then back in again, but why should it be necessary to take such a circuitous route? DG has become increasingly user-unfriendly in recent years.

anyway. it is DG's loss. under Easy, I need to spend at least RM300 per year to keep the line continuously active. under Best, it is RM30 per year using SuperLongLife.

digi math fail..

not entirely as DG force us to update to latest Best plan if we wanna keep on using SuperLongLife.

byebye 12 sen/min

say hi to 20 sen/min

and 30 second quick call now 26 sen

previously 18 or 12 sen

basically they just make the maths even more complicated

As confirmed by a senior staff at DG, the prepaid birthday and reload bonus are now only valid for 15 days from being credited.

So is IDD133 working if my DiGi fren IDD call my DiGi number when i am oversea?
*
Nope, IDD is for calling overseas number only.

And your DG friend roaming overseas will pay alot $$$ for receiving call from anyone.

But receive sms while roaming is normally free.
