QUOTE(Gas&Gaiters @ Feb 20 2013, 06:57 PM) Hi all, just curious. If I reload, say RM50, do I get 100 mins + 100 SMS + 1GB or it will consume whichever finished first e.g finished 1GB quota, no more free talktime/SMS? your question is about DG Prepaid Smart Plan, right? i believe all the quota is independent example, use up the data quota then you can still sms till your sms quota exhausted, then can still call till your talktime is finished, or your validity runs out that's my understanding anyway

QUOTE(yin93 @ Feb 21 2013, 11:47 AM) hey, i want to ask how to change ur birthday date? Cause digi send me msg and state that can reload birthday bonus although that day isn't my birthday, and on actual date, didn't get birthday bonus It means either the number is not registered under your name, or there's an error in DG data like someone mistyped your birthday or IC number. It's best to check at a DG centre. How long have you been using the number? Did you activate it yourself, or did you get the sim from someone who was using it before you? Handy hint : you can login to OCS account and see if your name is shown there on the opening page. This post has been edited by dgboy: Feb 21 2013, 09:52 PM

Using the *128# menu, can only replace FnF numbers, not delete them

Yes, prepaid mobile internet is limited to 3G speed.
The 5GB is only promotion until 31 March 2013 currently - if you subscribe this month, you will get 5GB/30 days, but it will auto-renewal after that based on the original quota of 3GB.
Birthday bonus cannot be used for internet subscription.

Still capped at blazing speed of 384kbps according to this page. However, the data-only prepaid sims are different: Q10. What is the speed for Prepaid Broadband For PC & Tablet Plan? A10. Likely Average Speed • Download: Up to 1Mbps • Upload: 384Kbps This post has been edited by dgboy: Mar 6 2013, 10:20 PM

If you want one year validity, use DiGi Best and subscribe Super Long Life at RM30/year.
If you want free calls, use DiGi Easy and the "cost" is that of staying active - basically RM1/day in topping up except RM100 topup gives 120 days.

RM30/year only buys one year validity.
All other services like calls, sms and data you have to pay for.
The 100MB plan costs RM5/5 days.

It is all spelled out in their FAQ, though the system is hardly user-friendly: Q12 My subscription is still active but the renewal failed due to insufficient credit. Will I be charged immediately upon reload? A12 Yes. You will be charged immediately upon reloading or receiving Talktime Transferâ„¢.
With DG, if you did not cancel the service before the auto-renewal date, the only way to avoid it renewing when you topup, is to topup an amount that make your total credit less than the subscription fee. Then, your line become active and you can unsubscribe.
At the least, DG should allow us 10 or 15 minutes after topup to confirm we want the plan to renew, but they don't. It all happens in a matter of seconds as soon you topup.
U Mobile got a better system for their UMI - if the auto-renewal of the plan fails, the systems only tries once again. If still fails after that, it auto-cancels:
17. What happens if it fails to auto-renew?
The subscription fails to automatically renew in the event of insufficient balance / prepaid validity. The system will only attempt to renew the subscription again on the following day.
18. What will happen if the renewal retry fails on its second attempt (to renew the services)?
Your subscription service will automatically unsubscribe & any unused balance will be forfeited.

QUOTE(MNet @ Mar 23 2013, 11:26 AM) why digi always dropped call? around 10 minutes sure dropped call. i'm using GSM not 3G. PJ area. SKMM fined DiGi RM100,000 for dropped calls, more than the total fine that Celcom and Maxis received.
