yes in the end I had a stay of execution but by then I'd reduced my sms count from about 260 to about 50, so DiGi's change of mind was even more irritating. |

QUOTE(ryder_78 @ Sep 23 2012, 12:22 PM) For DiGi® Easy Prepaid(RM16.80/pack), questions as follows:- 1) RM16.80 is the simpack price, which comes with 5 days validity upon activation. After that the reloads available are basically:1) I presume monthly reload is RM16.80 per month? 2) Is there a service to keep the line without topping up every month? say we pay additional RM30(this amount will not be added to the credit) to keep the line for 1 year? 3) I understand that with Buddyz we can have free calls 24 hours a day for 3 Digi phone numbers. Is this correct? 4) When was this Buddyz introduced? 2010? 2011? RM10 - 10 days RM30 - 30 days RM50 - 50 days RM100 - 120 days Obviously reload RM100 is best to get the max validity for free calls, however you will only get 30 free sms (to all networks, even international) with RM50 or RM100 reload. RM10 and RM30 reload are better if you want to maximise the free sms. 2) No (that is only available on the other plan, called Best). 3) Yes, subject to DiGi's fair usage policy. 4) Easy plan was introduced around September 2010. QUOTE(ryder_78 @ Sep 23 2012, 12:51 PM) May I ask about the Digi Best plan, how much additional top-up is required to keep the line active, and how long is the period before a reload is required? Plus, there is the option you mentioned of buying one year validity for RM30. |

Press release from DiGi
Free Nano SIMs with any DG Smart Plan or DG Postpaid Plus Plan Available in almost 250 DiGi outlets by early October 2012 SHAH ALAM, 24 September 2012 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") is offering free Nano SIMs when customers sign up for any DG Smart Plan or DG Postpaid Plus, starting Wednesday, 26 September 2012. Existing postpaid customers only need to pay RM20 for swapping their existing SIM to the Nano SIM. Customers can swap for new Nano SIMs or sign up for the respective plans above at selected DiGi outlets in the Klang Valley from 26 September. The Nano SIMs will be available in almost 250 DiGi outlets nationwide by early October 2012. The size of SIM or Subscriber Identification Module has evolved over the years as the size and design of mobile devices changed. The first SIM card introduced was in the same size as a credit card. It was further reduced with the same thickness to a Mini SIM. It eventually evolved to the next version called the Micro SIM with dimensions of 15 mm x 12 mm. The Nano SIM was subsequently introduced in early 2012 with dimensions of 12.3 mm x 8.8 mm x 0.7 mm, which is 15% thinner than its predecessor. The Nano SIMs can be inserted into adaptors for use with devices that utilise Mini SIMs or Micro SIMs. The full list of participating DiGi outlets nationwide will be published tomorrow (25 September). QUOTE(limhongwoon @ Sep 25 2012, 08:41 PM) Prepaid User possible to share the balance to their friends ? DG Easy - noOther DG Prepaid - can However, Talktime Transfer by DiGi is not very favourable - 75sen charge per transaction, limited amount can be transferred, and validity only a miserable two days. Just found out that DiGi cancelled about 90 DiGi-DiGi sms that I buy recently under RM1 for 100 sms. I know it's only small money but this is a purchase not a freebie and there was no expiry date mentioned when I buy the sms.

QUOTE(mackioes @ Nov 2 2012, 07:23 PM) just a short question, hopefully someone can enlighten me. I am on prepaid. If my credit validity is only for 3 days, i activate the internet weekly plan. does that mean i can't use my internet for the remaining 4 days? Also can anyone tell me how to quickly (but worth my money way) use up my RM50+ credit so that i can port to Umobile? Yes, correct. This is one of DiGi's many weak points on mobile internet. U Mobile allow you to finish your data subscription even if your normal credit validity runs out half way. That is the fair way since the subscription was paid in advance. |

If DiGi prepaid plan converted to DiGi postpaid plan, a maximum of RM100.00 credit can be carried forward. I'm not sure how this works with phone plus package deal though.

Here is the deal.
The only good point > this is the first time DiGi provided a pass that last 24 hrs instead of till midnight, and does not auto-renew. But from the daily rate, we may as well subscribe mobile internet and use our favourite mobile browser (mine is UC browser). This post has been edited by dgboy: Nov 10 2012, 01:50 PM |
