Yes.
You can collect the item at the designated Poslaju centers or you can call 1300-300-300 to arrange a 2nd delivery.

I am worried about it because today is selangor's sultan birthday. So all the pejabat pos in selangor area will be closed?Does it mean that I can receive my item today or tomorrow? Pos Laju Kota Kinabalu service is suck and rude and i think every Pos Laju in Malaysia is the same.

My item takes forever to reach the doorstep. It is not like first time i have encountered this kind of problem. More then 10 times i deal with Pos Laju, 7 of them were bad. Item were supposed to reach my doorstep at least 2-3 days, can become to more then 3 days and the worst one i ever experience is more than a week. What is this? Is this called "Laju"?

When i ask them why took them so long to send the item out, many excuses were made and most of them are stupid such as "tak cukup pekerja", "hujan tak boleh hantar" or "van rosak". Tak cukup pekerja recruit more la, hujan tak boleh hantar? hello! you using van bro!! They have a lot of vans outside their branch sighs. When i call their branch, the person who talk to me has very "sopan santun" attitude. When you go face to face with them, they greet you with a "senyuman manis".

Seriously, fix your services. We the people are complaining about your services that you gave towards us, the customer. I think the POSLINE have full of report and complain about their services, but still like ZERO action has been taken and it's like they deaf or something.

You can only get the flyers from Poslaju centers. Not Pos Malaysia.

So I just sent a package from KL to Sabah, expecting to be charged 20 bucks max but it turned out to be RM46.40. RM46.40!  shocking.gif JESUS CHRIST!!! ARE YOU SHIDDING ME?!!

WTF I thought domestic shipping would be cheaper than international? That's almost the price I pay to send my package to the U.S. which is RM65. And I did my research, the RM20 max estimate was what I got from their website. I already included the fuel surcharge, handling charge, GST and all that BS. It was 20 bucks max. Then the guy grabbed my package, weighed it. Took out his measuring tape and measured the dimensions. Damn me for not knowing they used volumetric weight! F me mate, F me.  doh.gif

ARRGH!!! I WANT TO KILL SOMETHING RIGHT NOW!!!  vmad.gif *Off to play GTA*

/Rant

TL;DR: I was stupid for not knowing PosLaju used volumetric weight and I was also stupid for trusting PosLaju to update their Goddamn website with up to date information.

TL;DR 2: I was stupid.  doh.gif

your package is very big? If the parcel is more than 30cm will get measure and they will choose which ever greater. If the weight rates is higher they will charge u the normal price according to the weight. However if after measure volumetric and the rate is higher than the weight then they will charge u volumetric

and nowhere did they state that packages will be charged based on volumetric weight if dimensions exceed 30cm.

I guess it's something everybody should know then?  doh.gif

Well good for you that you know about it then.

I never thought to look for that kind of information in a forum that has nothing to do with postal services whatsoever.

I expect that information to be clearly stated at the correct location which is the place where you get an estimate for your shipping charges.
*
If you never thought that kind of info shouldn't be available here in this forum, then you shouldn't came here to this topic because you won't search for it at all.

If you saying you come here just to complaints, then you shouldn't do that in 1st place because you say yourself this forum has nothing to do with postal services. doh.gif

Cool, theres Q&A thread of Pos Malaysia

Anyway heres my question.

I'm about to deliver some parcel, the biggest will be 50cm x 50cm x 50cm weight around 20KG, from KL to Sarawak, using E-Parcel via Sea method.

1. Can i go to Pos Laju branch to deliver my parcels using E-Parcel, its kinda stupid question...but since pos laju also under Pos Malaysia, so i just wanna to be sure, plus most pos office close on saturday, so i wanna go to nearest pos laju branch to deliver it.

2. What is the procedure to deliver using E-parcel? Anything need to do before go to Pos Office?
Or I just bring my parcel, Q for counter to fill the form, then weight the parcel and pay, then finish?

Sorry for many stupid question, coz first time deliver big parcel. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif
