I'm going to Poslaju tomorrow. And I want to post something.

What is the procedure?

Like need to take number etc.

Thanks in advance smile.gif

all poslaju need to get number except for smaller branch like at cyberjaya post office, need to que.

get the form and fill up 1st before get the number. Don't fill up when already at the counter, everyone hate when people do that. It's make everyone waiting longer.

need to wrap 1st yourself before go. The poslaju plastic only for someone who have an account with them and only available at big Poslaju center. I have ask before, they always say don't have it. When I ask at Brickfield poslaju center, they ask for account number. But I lucky enough to get 1 or 2 sometime.

Poslaju Brickfield need to get the number not sure for Batu Caves. Even I live at Selayang, I always post at either Brickfield or Cyberjaya.

If we don't have Poslaju account, then we will just send the box with no plastic? Is it okay?
*
Yes... just wrap with 1st with white A4 paper (like I always do) or using brown paper (kertas minyak).

Plastic bag is more convenient for a big seller, they just put in the bag. If sending 5 - 10 items a day, would you wrap it?

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 12 2011, 04:31 PM)
Partially wrong.
You don't need to have an account with them to get the Poslaju plastic. Poslaju called it as flyer. It has 3 size, Small Flyer, Medium Flyer & Large Flyer. It's for everyone, everyone can get it.
The guy / girl who doesnt want to give you the plastic is probably a hardass whose too lazy to take the plastic from their desk.

Just ask & they will provide. If they don't, call the manager in charge & tell them about it.
I've been dealing with Poslaju Shah Alam, Poslaju Kota Bharu, Poslaju Petaling Jaya, Poslaju Klang & none of them ever asked for an account number.

If you're a frequent shipper like me who post more than 5 items everyday, you may ask for a large amount of flyer & Poslaju form from them.
*
I based on my experience.

to TS, better prepare to wrap it 1st.

About the box, you can buy a bigger box at Pos. But better to find a bigger box somewhere for free cos it may too big.

Dear all,
I've requested a postage from USA, they using USPS Express Mail International. The problem is I send the wrong postcode to the sending, The postcode suppose to be 63100 i send 63000, and what should I do now. Is it related to Poslaju that I need to give a call?
*
My Citibank statement have a wrong postcode for nearly 3 years and I always receive it.

In Malaysia, even without the postcode, still have street name and house number.

You not at Japan which don't use street name. Any small mistake, will end up at wrong building.

May i know why poslaju dont know how to use intercom ?
*
The answer is... 'What is intercom?'

It's depend on the poslaju staff and area... some even call ask for direction or call to confirm who at home... (always happen to me).

At my kampung, they know each person name... even the whole family.

Lol u think this is the 1st time I use PL? Just tested with 3 links, the old one is not working. Works for u, great. But not for everyone. It was a suggestion since you can edit the 1st post sleep.gif

Won't give benefit to anybody if the old link is still there. Should be replaced with the links that marcus20125 gave.

Haiya really? Your reply is on how many times I use the service???? Just update the info for the sake of others. No point telling if the old link still works for you. Screen shot proves that it doesnt work for others.  Sharing is caring.
*
Haiya, do you come here and straight away read the last post or you read from start... I did put link to a new poslaju website if you did read.

I found that link using google search and never ask anyone. Let me teach you how to use google.

Click Poslaju Tracking
Now found 2 link, old and new one.

Fuyoh where did you find these? Nordingh, I kowtow.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif You seem to know a big deal about postal stuff smile.gif your post is gonna go onto the first page ya smile.gif

Sigh, why la the insurance can only be bought from the Pos Laju Centers =/ Plus need to be a registered account holder too, looking from the form =/ My postcode isn't covered by the Pos Laju Pickup service, so that shows how far my place is from the nearest Pos Laju Center =/
*
I found bury deep in my photobucket account. biggrin.gif

No need to register an account, anyone can... I also don't know why only at centre can buy insurance, never ask them... (but you can buy car insurance in all post office doh.gif )

see the spoiler .... damn so lame ... need to wait till wednesday for second delivery =.= ..... wtf ... my item very fragile 1 (s.h.figuarts action figures)  ... confirm kena crush dengan other ppl item  doh.gif   sial punya customer service .... and i no time to selfcollect .... location of the Pos Laju is far very crappy 1 ...
next time i confirm using skynet and other courier ..... less fussy and easier to deal with ...
*
When you expecting some package next time, make sure got people to receive it. Now you blaming someone else pulak.

QUOTE(electronicfly @ Feb 3 2012, 05:14 PM)
You'll get the same thing from any courier service here. The usual is call today (3rd), send tomorrow (4th), but you forgot that:
4th is the first Sat of the month = Pos Laju closed
5th is Sunday = Pos Laju closed
6th is replacement holiday as 5th is public holiday = Pos Laju closed
7th is a public holiday = Pos Laju closed

Nothing to do with Pos Laju's "suckiness" and even if you want to self collect, earliest also still on the 8th only as the office won't be open.
*
QUOTE(fatenagisa @ Feb 3 2012, 05:47 PM)
at least you explained and thx  notworthy.gif   .... the customer service didnt even say /mention  the reason for the delay. knowing the holidays for monday and tuesday now im kinda relief a lil bit thx again .

now i blame goverment for giving replacement public holiday  vmad.gif
*
No need for them to explain, you should know when is public holiday.

QUOTE(electronicfly @ Feb 3 2012, 06:26 PM)
Hahahah most Malaysians can remember when got public holiday one ma xD Aiyo, don't la get angry. When tak ada holiday marah, ada holiday marah, how la liddat.. Chillax la, Pos Laju IMO is perfectly fine. I've never had any major trouble with them, only once they delay posting my parcel coz 1 center overwhelmed, but a call kautim everything d. Pos Laju has changed a LOT since they got partially privatized.
*
Agree...

Customer or customer service is lousy....?

Poslaju always arrive at my house during the day, around 12pm - 2 pm. Yamato, Skynet, Kangaroo and forgot what else... always reach after 7pm.... that 1 day waiting. Lousy right.. but I never complaints...
