This has probably been asked many times: how long does it usually take for the online tracking service to register a shipment?

I bought something from a seller and it was shipped out earlier today, but the tracking number still results in a 'Record Not Found'.

From what I've read, it can take 24 hours or longer for it to be updated?

Tracking site said that it had been dispatched yesterday (29th) and yet to receive anything today. My parcel is from SG and was sent exactly 1 week ago from this post date.

i would like to say that pos laju service is bad.. its experience on me.. for others maybe is good la..

when they delivered goods to me, they never give me a call at all. then just drop a message, ask me to go the pos laju office to collect it..

p/s: they aspect we whole day waiting them deliver to us. sometimes we also need to go out buy something what. and we dono what time they will come as well...

that day the pos laju deliver to me, i just at nearby shop bought some foods.
as my opinion, at least they should give us a call, hence , we can back home and receive the goods.

my experience, GDEX is good. they will give u a call, told u what time they will send the goods to u. if u not at home that time, they will come next day. this service only call good.

This is not the first time i faced this problem. They also used to say Van broke down to stop u from asking many questions. But the strange thing is u still can hear some background sound like blaming each n another like "why not sending yesterday, why still here?"

How is it the pickup service works? would anyone explain to me please...

Experienced the same thing. PosLaju never call me for delivery. They simply honk in front of my house for few times, then just leave the pickup slip.

The thing is we can't go and pickup our goods on the same day. We have to pick it up the day after. Another day wasted. This happen everytime I use Pos Laju. Very bad service.

CityLink, Airpak, Gdex offer a very good service. They will call your asking if you're at home at this certain time of delivery. Then only they will go to your house. I never go to any of their HQ to pick up my things.

I've searched in this topic but nobody talked about this before. Did you notice the GST charge (6%) is not actually 6% but more? For example for a package weighting less than 500 grams, the calculation on my copy of consignment note:

0.126 KG: RM 4.50
GST (6%): RM 0.34
SBA & SP: RM 1.13

If according to the website, fuel surcharge and handling surcharge would be 15% + 10% = 25% so the last calculation is correct 25% x 4.50 = 1.125. But 6% x 4.50 is 0.27, not 0.34? That is 7.5%! We are paying much more than we should.

Hi, i posted a parcel out yesterday and i am wondering why the tracking code cant be track right now.

The is what i went through yesterday.

I went to a normal pos office (not HQ) and bought a prepaid envelope for RM9 and place my parcel inside. The staff told me not to put in the slip and dont seal the envelope yet when i pass the parcel. Then after i paid him he told me i can leave already and i saw the staff just put my parcel aside with the slip without proper sealing the envelope. The time i pass the parcel to counter is about 6pm.

Is my parcel already dispatch out? Is it normal in this situation that the tracking code cannot be traced?
