So how did lady luck treat you today? Any good rare/s?

Ok, can somebody gimme a breakdown of VS.
- cost per booster pack?
- cost per box?
- how many cards in a booster pack?
- cost per pre-con deck/starter?
- highest card value as of now?

Can an uncle join this VS? Afterwards feel kinda awkward in a crowd of young generation there's an old timer in the group.

I get the Golgari's deck Legend - Gorgon.

Another 1 is Hunted Troll. lol.

For a boros deck, I din get any good card.

These question is better answer by nbooi ... as for the uncle part, nobody is too old to play VS system, trust me ... im already old but i still luv this game and will never feel awkward playing with a younger crowd.

i play MTG also but cant find ppl to play wif old cards. especially cards that i assume to be either banned or type 1 already. The shop at amcorp opens till wat time? dun wanna arrive to find it closing.

i play all 5 colours inckuding the colourless, the strongest be my red, blue, green, white and black, the colourless was made a few months back. the white and black is incomplete. need to know any nice cards that can incorporate into my decks. Still addicted to them

pure black is my favorite.....
my deck is pure discard deck with no card in your hand you cant do anything...
and i just need to keep mana and drainlife you..
the rack is also a good artifact...just one mana casting..
hypnotic specter is a must creature with 3 mana you get 2/2 flying with the ability of discarding opponent everything it deal damage..
with terror and dark banishing dont have to worry about opponent creature...
hyme tutorach, funeral charm all have the ability to discard a card per mana...
with dark ritual and lotus petal you dont have to worry about your mana..

but i dont think this deck can be used any more cause too many card either get banned or restricted...

green/red is the best land destruction...
both colour have good land d card...
with green generating mana, red dealing massive amount of direct damage..if play long term sure win...destroy opponent land..then collect mana like bird of paradise, lonoar elf and fynhorn elf...deal damage wit desintergrate then gg de

cant wait to go back malaysia and get rid of my card...my bloody collection from 3rd ed, 4 ed, ice age, mirage, until mercardian more then 2k i spend.....hopefully can get back my cost i also happy de.....

wa lau eh....wat al u peeps still using old cards r....do like me la...mix em both man....i had a deck with only 2 creatures and it's an anti creature red deck den had a pure blue boomerang deck....didn't really played with discarders...only irritating creatures....like a mass rat deck...with coat of arms and brass herrald....woo pa....wei anyone still got goblin grenades and a gobbie deck to sell...or borrow...jsut long time no use em d....regretted selling em last time...:'( miss the ka boom i always cause..
nowadays i dun wanna play MTG d...cos first dey banned the best cards out there...den dey bring stupid power monger cards in...wat is tis man...v used to do strategy and combo....now u just make sure u got shit loads of mana n den u do everything from a creture amegaddon to creature booster target life sucking and blasting all in 1 card...wat la....lazy wanna follow d...n now u got 2 man symbols on each card...man wat is this la....just bring back bulduvian hordes ball lightning...black lotus....black vise and howling mine with braingyser and copy atifact...woo hoo..imagine the damage

3 mana is all it takes to get the deck operational
when lady luck smiles on me, the hand can kill in 5-7 turns but most of the time i am dead unless both our hand is so so
most try out your discard deck...
my cards range from ban to type 1 cause it was design to play with frens

Woa, type 1 & 1.5 decks are super fast and efficient. Well, I ain't playing those types anymore as using them is like n00b and there's no challenege. My decks at that time are deemed standard legal at their prime and now have become Extended already. Of cos still tourney legal for extended season.

The Shop in Amcorp opens at 12pm to 8pm (Mon - Sun). However, Thursday nites we are usually open till 10pm (coz of VS hobby league).
VS has got a new product which is very suitable for new and old players alike which is the collectors box. It is RM100.00 and comes with 4 deck tins (either Avengers or JLA) and 4 booster packs (RM10 each) of either Avengers or JLA and the box comes with 4 Alternate Art as well. A normal deck tin (aluminium) is at RM19.90 while the plastic ones are RM12.00 so this is a good buy.

A starter deck is RM42.00 and toybox will help construct a common/uncommon deck for every player who buys a starter deck. Starter deck has 60 or 40 cards depending on which version and 2 alternate arts.

Currently, the good rares sell for about RM20-30 each. Other rares are going for between RM5-RM10. The shop also sells excess cards (rares at RM2 and above). Booster packs are RM10 each.

Hobby league entries are RM10 per entry twice a week. every participant gets one hobby league card (alternate art). Winner wins RM25 and first runner up gets two booster packs instead of one. The rest of the participants get one booster pack each.

VS is cheaper compared to other card games dus to the fact that majority of Toybox partners are VS players and cards are subsidised (more or less) by the shop. VS players make money through winning competition and not by selling of cards. We can help you sell the power rares online for a more lucrative price but since the bank account is in Australia, you only get your money much later.

The most exp card thus far that i know of is around RM150 each (no one buys them anymore). The recent rares (most exp) is about RM40 though most of the good rares are only around RM20. Good thing about VS is, there are a number of cheap decks which have just won or were in the Top8 of major tournaments.

Oh yes, please be advised that all VS players will not be around during the 3rd and 4th of Dec (this weekend) as we are all participating in VS 10K KL at GameCon.
