I usually lunch there on Fridays. So, it is just a matter of bringing some dusty decks along with me.
If interested, post here/PM me with a place to meet.

Anyone wants to play old casual decks with me in Low Yat/Time Square area? Been a while since I played and I'd love to get to know some new people. I started in 4th Ed, on and off magic along the way.

Yo Jeremiah, you can meet us in Berjaya Time Square on Friday as metalfire said. Any time after 6pm is fine with me. Will stay until around 9pm (leaving to HK on Sat)
You can try out the decks I'll be bringing along. Let us know if you can make it. |

MTGO (the WoTC online Magic) is all about virtual cards. Last time I heard, they give you a free Core Set precon in MTGO for you to preview/learn the program. You will need to buy boosters if you want to continue beyond that.
I believe once you collected all the cards for a given set, you can redeem for real cards (that's what I heard, I don't play Magic Online) |

QUOTE(four_add @ Dec 26 2005, 01:43 PM) usually i bought Magic cards at Petaling Street.. there only cost RM9 i think, but its been years i stoped buying&playing. All my cards have been sold including my Fires deck. Wonder if the shop is still there. Which part of Petaling Street it was located?I used to frequent the Mtg shop in Berjaya Plaza (the building connected to Time Square via Monorail) as it was nearest. It closed down quite some months ago. This post has been edited by ashburn98: Dec 26 2005, 09:15 PM |

Most turn Turn 1 kill involves Restricted/Banned List cards.
Kamigawa has a possible Turn 1 kill though. Mountain, Spark Elemental, pitch 2x Blazing Shoal with 2x high casting cost red cards (like Myojin of Infinite Rage) The new Mtg thread is for active players (useful for tourny info). Mtg guys here are inactive, some wants to sell collection, talk about old decks, like that. I have Kamigawa cards (1000+ cards) that I won't have time to play with them. If you want them bulk, I'll can let go cheap. |

QUOTE(e-jump @ Jun 7 2006, 11:45 PM) guys, i left magic some time ago.. Mtg is a great game. Even if you are playing Casually or T2, it is still plenty of fun. The question I have for you is "Do you have friends/playgroup who is playing MTG?" If not, you will find it hard to continue playing.is there a list of playable old magic card due to re-available in later edition ? started with tempest and stop around early 8th ed still undecided either to let go all the cards or continue/trade |
