As compared to US, playing MTG here is expensive if you compare dollar to dollar, i.e. factor out exchange rate. While playing PS2 is unlike here where we buy pirated disc which is cheap. Those folks in US buy originals PS2 games.

Reading is cheap, you can always find something to read about at those 2nd hand book shop/rental shop. Finish reading, return to the shop to get another one. Ok, it depends on what you read. If you read comics...then...haha sorry lar brother, it may be more expensive than MTG. I know because I was interested in Marvel, DC, Image comics once before so I'm pretty familiar with the origins of some famous supes.

yeah.. there is a cheap way to reading... i rent books... rented A Song of Ice and Fire.. had 4 installments when i was reading it... Deposit RM200 rental costed me RM30. Finished it in 2 weeks.... repeated same process with other books =)

I also play RC cars which cost me RMxxxxx.xx already...woops that is the most expensive hobby i've ever had.

Hey Jeremiah, I'll gladly help you out on MTG, if you don't mind an old uncle to discuss MTG with. While VS, I think both of us need to learn from nbooi and his team down at Amcorp. Never too old to learn on something new. I wish I had know how to play MTG while I was 14. That time when MTG Alpha, Beta & Revised came out, I only had the chance to learn to play during school holidays and when I'm in S'pore. Back in KL during those days, you could hardly find anyone to play & develope MTG with. Nowadays so many young people play MTG.

So, let me know where & when to meet in KL then we can play some MTG. I hope you've got your parents' or guardians' permission to hang out because we don't want this to ruin your hobby.

BTW, I'm meeting up with bro ashburn98 this Fri evening after work to play some casual MTG down at Berjaya Time Square. Don't expect new cards though because we just wanna have fun with our rusty old decks.

Feel kinda happy yesterday, went to Amcorp Mall toyzbar buy packs. And yea, the 1st pick I get the dual lands "Watery Grave". I was like WTF !!!...XD

U will be at KL until Dec 10 right ... what a great timing. Midvalley will be having its 1st GameCon-1 convention on Dec 3-4, 2005. The convention will cover all types of games from Magic, VS to AD&D RPG. I believe there will oso be a demo on Magic and VS. Come join us.
