Just use new Live ID with Singapore region code and now we can pay via paypal uber awesome!

Huh? R u sure can use Paypal as payment method? Since when? Can anyone clarify this?

Since just now, I put my PayPal account to the billing info and yes it has been accepted. Later I will try to buy something from Marketplace as currently I'm using the company wifi and they block live.com access

Paypal should be for purchases made on Xbox Live only.. can that be used on the phone? Let me go check.

Added on February 15, 2012, 11:55 amOk.. just tried. added PayPal on XBOX.COM but it doesn't show up on my phone. I don't think you can use PayPal for phone purchase yet.

want to ask about live id.

lets say my current live id, which is set to singapore region, then i decided to use new live id.

if i reset the phone, use the new live id as primary, and add the old live id(singapore) as secondary, will i get back my contacts?

Yes, the main difference is that only the Primary Live ID's XBox Live, Messenger and Skydrive can be used. Contacts, Emails can be linked without any problem.

Office Skydrive only for primary email, but downloading the Skydrive app you can key in other hotmail accounts and it will work too.

It seems to work for everything EXCEPT OneNote notebooks, which sucks for me since what I used the most.

what i read from our neighbour forum, they also have marketplace problems like us. their marketplace announced same with malaysia, argentina, filipina and peru.

M$ just officially expanding the marketplace few weeks ago, have to wait month or two before it can really fully operate.

agreed, need to have a lot of patience, one of the advantage is able to buy using local credit card. but no support for XBL , and many apps missing, so I'm switching back to SG ID temporarily
