I have a question if u guys don't mind. I've had experience with 3 Mango phones. HTC HD7, Radar, & one LG phone (can't remember the model).

In all 3 of them, Whatsapp doesn't get new message notifications. They only come flooding in when i manually launch the app.

Is there actually a solution to this problem? This is one of the main reasons why I sold of the Radar...and now with the impending release of Lumia 800, my hands are itchy again. I've always loved the Ui of WP7 but I rely on Whatsapp a lot (well, no iMessage).. so I really want this "problem" to be resolved.

Nokia shop at mines also already display the banners, but also no demo yet, they said will be available at Friday. The release is nationwide, but the event only held at our capital and maybe some others big city. Lumia 710 for 999 damn cheap! (with spec almost similar to htc radar), and Lumia 800 for 1650. With Nokia Drive and Navigator, this device is really worth the money. Too bad i just recently bought HTC radar. sigh..

Honestly im glad Nokia and Microsoft team up, Nokia is the real hp maker, and Microsoft is the real OS hardware maker (unlike google) so we can expect continuous support from this giant. But without Nokia, idont think Microsoft will ever care about us at small nation.

Nokia has been in Asia for long time already, common sense if its not because of Nokia, WP7 and Marketplace will never officially available in Malaysia.

So guys, raise your support to Nokia! and Microsoft (So they can improve this nice phone os)!

one of my friend bashed me today for using windows phone....
all he knows about is windows mobile... he says what im using now is windows mobile
"aiya i hate windows mobile one... soo sucks"
and he said htc phones are all android... what the fish? i told him straight to the face know about phones then only open your mouth....

but to me one major drawbacks for windows phone is that the bluetooth doesnt support file transfer, one of my friend wants to get the lumia 800 but he is hesitating because it has no bluetooth...

then another friend asked me whether windows phone has alot of apps or not... i just told him that the main ones are here already and its the trend that is ruining people from trying windows phone... he seems to like my mozart then his galaxy ace

this is my first time using WP7, i find it quite strict, unlike other OS. Everything need to be sync. And i am having a hard time choosing region, if i chose malaysia, the language will change to malay and seems like marketplace apps will be less, but if change to singapore apps much more. And also have to change my PC region as well to sync. Lol. Really can't stand the sync system so far. And i want to ask about games, since the apps of WP7 is so expensive compare to other OS, say if i download the demo, how long can i play the games? is it in certain amount of time? or the game itself will be restricted to certain level? hope all WP7 sifu can answer my question.

hmm since im not gona purchase app, its ok for me to set region to US rite? US market place got quite many naise free apps than sg oso..

can sbody with malaysia marketplace check whether facebook app available or not coz i could not find it.

How come I cannot find??? By the way I am using Malaysia marketplace, I don't plan to crack it to use US or Singapore marketplace .....

Just use new Live ID with Singapore region code and now we can pay via paypal uber awesome!

M$ just officially expanding the marketplace few weeks ago, have to wait month or two before it can really fully operate.

I still can't get on the Malaysian Marketplace. Done these few things...

1. Mine is Maxis set, and is default set to Malaysia as the region.
2. Have an existing Windows Live ID which has been set to Malaysia.
3. Created a dummy Windows Live account set to Malaysia from the beginning.
4. Using a Malaysian credit card for billing.
5. Hard reset my phone twice.

My billing page is in Malay. Yet when I try to download an app it says "not available in your country/region". Both on computer and on the phone itself.

If the marketplace really isn't available in Malaysia yet, I'm willing to wait. But fellow forumers here all can access...?

Well, I'm an RHB use. Haven't had any problems receiving OTP codes. You could just be unlucky I guess.

How is it like? Each note will take up 1 whole tile? Or perhaps 4 pinned notes in 1 tile, as in the tile is divided into 4 small squares. Can?

My battery was even worse. Last night before I went to sleep at 10.30pm, I decide to turn off my data as to save my battery. At that time my battery level was at 85%. So to my surprise, when i woke up this morning at 6.30 am and  checked my phone battery level left only 38%. without any data it consume much more power? its so weird and wrong

Any idea?
