QUOTE(marauderz @ Feb 16 2012, 11:24 AM) 3G should just work, I didn't set anything for my HTC Radar. As for MMS... hmmm.. there's a Network setup app right? try that and see if Malaysia Maxis is listed. note that if you see Maxis and Maxis 3G listed, you need to choose the 3G one. Oo thanks, I thought it need some requirement for it. What about MMS? I still can't find a way to view pictures

QUOTE(jackal_x2005 @ Feb 15 2012, 07:04 PM) agreed, need to have a lot of patience, one of the advantage is able to buy using local credit card. but no support for XBL , and many apps missing, so I'm switching back to SG ID temporarily Do you need to reset phone to factory settings for switching live ID back and forth?

I still can't find a way to view pictures You need to turn on your data connection in order to view the MMS else there might be something wrong with your phone. For HTC users, HTC has an app called Connection Setup which basically do all the settings tweaking with just some easy steps.

Hmm, I noticed suddenly today more apps are available in the market. Guess they're slowly but surely loosening the waterpipes for app availability.
Though Xbox Live is still an issue. Too many decent games are tied to XBL, and while I can always play my games on my Android, Nokia needs to smack Microsoft to work faster to make them available if they seriously want to convert Android Army/iFans.

QUOTE(bulkbiz @ Feb 16 2012, 01:50 PM) Anyone of you here having the problem of "Can't connect to see who's online" at the messaging online threads? I only have that problem when my internet connection was disrupted then restored again. (like switching from2G to 3G). Usually it will automatically be back within half an hour, but sometimes I need to switch my online status to 'offline', wait for a while, switch back to 'online'.

This is because the apps had to be resubmitted and recertified for Malaysia marketplace. Damn content laws. As for XBL... I guess for MS the problem is... what happens if they just flip the switch to allow Malaysia to have XBL but NOT support Xbox 360 here.

I still can't get on the Malaysian Marketplace. Done these few things...
1. Mine is Maxis set, and is default set to Malaysia as the region. 2. Have an existing Windows Live ID which has been set to Malaysia. 3. Created a dummy Windows Live account set to Malaysia from the beginning. 4. Using a Malaysian credit card for billing. 5. Hard reset my phone twice.
?????????
My billing page is in Malay. Yet when I try to download an app it says "not available in your country/region". Both on computer and on the phone itself.
If the marketplace really isn't available in Malaysia yet, I'm willing to wait. But fellow forumers here all can access...?

But fellow forumers here all can access...? as what has been mentioned by evilpuppy, Malaysian Marketplace does not have many apps due to waiting for developers to resubmit their apps. like me, I am able to buy apps using Malaysian cc using M'sian WLID. however, since many apps is missing, i did a hard reset and use WLID that is set to SG instead. you may need to wait for a month and see how things going

Anyone experience lagginess when charging your phone? That's because the phone temporarily mistakens that you are connected to the PC. Normally it will go off after a while, but if you want an immediate fixed just open Marketplace. You will see 'Connecting'. Just press cancel and then your phone is fast and fluid again.
