Reason no.1: Demand high but supply low.

2. birdnests getting lesser
3. China population getting richer so demand high and can afford for birdnest and
4. More Older population which are best market for birdnests.
can give more reasons and all showing possible increment in price. just imagine that even now as EBN off season, price still high but rest assured that buyers shall try hard to pull price down now so that they can have cheaper EBN price for the coming CNY festival when price surely going up. Too high a price then means making lesser profit for EBN collectors.

So, don't you worry that price shall drop very low; its going to be up unless experts find that birdnest no longer a health food but worry that your birds are getting lesser and lesser unless you all unite and do something about it.

Hi guys, just a new comer, can anyone enlighten what is the latest market price now?

Price dropping, its like someone is pumping the market and let it down now. the last time i asked was 4+, no more 6
Lucky i sold all quickly even though many asked me to hold for higher price.

I think 4k+ is a little on the low side, maybe 5k+ can consider...i don't think there is willing buyer now, buyers are waiting for price to come down. But then, bird nest supply also getting less. In my case already dropped about 40% or more

just sold mine around rm4200 per kg yest...price still dropping...

What nest quality ? do you have pics?

selling in few grade..average around rm4200..
highest grade is RM4600.. lowest like the nest 'habuk' rm3800..

at least now above 4 average, can pay rent/loan

usually ABC combine can sell how.much? mine latest 4.5; ABC with mold/dropping 3.3

never experience selling price above 5
(but to.be fair nests are mostly yellowish)

heard from my friends that they manage to sell around rm5.2k last few week..that the highest price i heard..

Hi all, Singaporean here and planning to build a swiftlet house with a relative in Sabah. Just met the contractor who tested with his sound at the site. Attracted some 150 birds. His quote was RM55/sq ft for just the building. This being in agricultural land in Sabah. He is simply replicating a consultant's design for a 2-sty 20x80 BH that he had built before. Apparently there are no government permits required or engineer's "chop" here. Is this how BH are built in these parts of Malaysia?

Mine is with permit from government , but Sabah I'm not so sure. I think it's better to get a permit. Mine is shop lot btw, so it might be different .

Sold mine 5.5k last month , now dropping .

My experience told & is still haunting me BETTER DON'T THINK OF doing such thing with remote relative. UNLESS
