Nuff said, D7000. D5100's control just feels like another M4/3.
*
Another D5100 user.. Can't agree more with this. D7000 control is much better. if I wasn't limited by my budget, i'd go for d7000 any time.

the expression of the subject when he/she saw the photographer's camera flash suddenly bursting into flames would be worth capturing. hmmm hmmm

just wondering.. if i am interested to buy some old lens (AiS) what should I look out for?
fungus?
scratches?
and the smoothness of the manual focus?
aperture settings still working fine?
is there anything else that I left out?

Guys, can help me choose between nikon d3100 and nikon d5100? I got budget around RM2.5k,should i buy nikon d3100 with better lens or nikon d5100 with kit lens?
*
i'd vote for d5100 with the kit lens.. but that's just me.. hehe

reasons:
- better sensor (same with d7000 sensor if i'm not mistaken)
- better back lcd (easier to view picture)
- higher ISO range (d3100: 3200; d5100: 6400)

p/s: using kit lens can help you learn what (better) lens to aim for as well..

Yeah. open wide kaw kaw.. kekeke~ cuz cat suddenly saw lizard (supper) and went for the catch.. used my saga as platform.. so i fast fast grab camera take a few shots.. smile.gif

QUOTE(stsh90 @ Jan 16 2012, 10:50 PM)
I see. If that's the case I'd settle with the 2000 mAh ones. Mind to share what's the price like? I mean the charger + 4AA batteries one. I've found one seller in LYN selling around RM 120, wonder if it's a good price.
#4 is nice smile.gif

#2 the bokeh near the neck is a bit distracting, IMHO.

U're welcome bro.

On diff between those two batteries, perhaps the battery power and charging cycle - as mentioned by Irbean.

Thanks.. smile.gif after you mentioned.. yeah.. now i find the bokeh near the neck rather distracting too.. haha will take note next time.. smile.gif

actually that's why i asked if CPL would be more appropriate for wideangle-landscape photos- rather than UV filters
i'm planning to get a UWA so now deciding whether its gonna be a UV or CPL filterĀ  icon_question.gif

Added on January 20, 2012, 11:24 pm

yeah, korek, korek alwazs nothing wan......77mm CPL got ah?
*
A CPL will make your images 1-2 stops darker.. they aren't exactly the filter that i would want to have it on the lens at all time.. UV filters are more for protection sake.. unless you prefer to go commando that is

edit: picture spam again.. keke
hope this is clean enough.. do give me your opinions.
