Will be making a short trip to Paris. Are any watches there worth buying?
About rm5k budget.

use 5K to just buy LV and sell it locally, with the profit you can up your budget!

Truth be told, I don't really care if I'm attended to when I first step in or not.
I always find it to be a major annoyance when I'm browsing through their selection and they insist on standing beside me and trying to make small talk.
But I also have a habit of putting my hands behind my back when browsing haha. They can only see the clasp

I share the same opinion. I don't mind them standing behind me though so that I can view the watches conveniently(asking for their assistance to open the display)

the thing is , its not they don't serve me , they treat me like im going to nick something from them eventhough EVERYTHING is in the glass box/ or i feel like it .
At the very least they do like they're annoyed with me .. very bad service .

dont u guys feel offended when they inform u the price tag before bringing out the display unit. i got the experience at official rolex store at pavilion.

warranty is supplied by thewatchery, anything U have to send your watch back to them.
quartz watch, no worries with watch breaking due to manufacturing defects. I don't see U claiming warranty.
most ppl claim warranty with auto, with watch running too fast or slow.

In cases like this, I normally walk off. It's not like I am so hardup for their watches. Since they do not want my business, no point in browsing anymore..

hi guys, need ur expert opinion,

I have been offerred a Troika Chrono quartz watch used. It looks nice, stainless steel, chrono function with 1/10th of sec dial.

the thing is I have never heard of Troika. Markings only say Troika Germany.

Anyone knows about Troika Watches? Uncle Google didn't help much but found a johore guy selling it off here : TROIKA

the site looks legit. i saw this deal a few days back.. tempting cos its a nice looking watch, but i skipped cos there's no tachy. not like i use it anyway
