Yes, today morning the Byond box (not Byond PVR) also got software updated to version 7.0. Now can plug in the ethernet cable and successfully detected my modem.
Note... the Byond box network connection is not used for watching Astro On-The-Go directly on TV. Astro On-The-Go is for watching channels streamed through internet to mobile smartphones but be careful of data charges from mobile telcos if not on monthly plan. At present, not available for android smartphones, will come in future. We can also use our streamyx broadband connection to watch Astro On-The-Go channels so that we don't have to pay data charges. If the modem got wifi, then can use smartphone internet browser to watch.
I think the Byond box network connection is used for selecting and confirming movies on Video On Demand so that we don't have to use sms or phone call to confirm purchase of any VOD movies to watch. I did not subscribe to PVR so cannot check what is inside the "Video On Demand" in the Home Menu. Please correct me if I am wrong. The Byond box network connection is definitely NOT for Astro On-The-Go service. Yes for VOD.
I watched the Astro On-The-Go preview channels using my computer internet browser and the streamed video quality is not HD and ... ah hem... is of course cannot compare with the Byond box direct to TV.
Channel 100 is now VOD Help.
* Byond PVR (with internal harddisk) software update started a few days ago. Here are a few screenshots of the Byond (not PVR) menu...

I login to the site and at present only 3 channels are available so I previewed 2 channels and.... mmm... the SD quality is so-so only. With my 4 Mbits broadband speed, the streaming is okay with very few stops and jerking.
I am not complaining on vdeo quality if I can watch the Euro Cup for free in Astro On-The-Go ! Mmm... I believe not all matches shown lah. Since Euro Cup 2012 will only start on 08-06-12, only a 2 minute Euro Cup trailer is available at Astro On-The-Go.
I captured a few screenshots at actual size from my 27 inch (Full HD 1920x1080) computer display showing the videos from Astro On-The-Go. The filesize is a bit large so it may take some time to load in your computer.
