QUOTE(CcL @ Nov 28 2011, 08:43 AM) Can someone explain this to me... If your phone is rooted., just download 'battery calibrator' apps from market and use it. Save you from the headache ~~lol~~so when it auto shut off, do i plug in the charger and turn on the phone or do i plug in the charger and let it charge to 100% before turning it on?? Thanks Added on November 28, 2011, 9:08 am QUOTE(Damonzero @ Nov 28 2011, 08:55 AM) After root can i delete the bloatware that im not using? im too newbie to flash the rom at the moment. Please be extra carefull when delete any pre-installed apps especially phone system apps as wrong deleting can make your phone go sideways. o_OSafest way is to freeze any apps that not needed by using Titanium Backup Pro. This way if anything goes wrong you can unfreeze that apps again. If everything went smoothly even after freezing then only it's save to uninstall such apps. Yes with root, use Titanium Backup to freeze or delete any system bloatware eg Samsung Hubs, KIES, Live wallpapers etcOr you can flash a lean rom without most of Samsung stuffs - XXK1 Hong Kong rom. The rom comes with a separate zip file with all the missing apps. You can selectively choose and just install the apk file for those apps you need |

QUOTE(hairyharry2 @ Nov 28 2011, 02:13 AM) Anyone has a cheap and good screen protector to recommend? Doesn't have to be branded. Last time, I compared my SGP Steinheil SP on my iphone and Cap ayam SP on my itouch, Cap ayam is better. True story. So I'm not willing to pay RM50+ for another SGP product anymore. the RM9 selling by Sherly_Star at garage is not bad. So far no a micro scratch on the SP yet after few days of moderate use of S Pen. But during the application, i did some mistake and bent a corner of the SP and thus have to cut a corner of it. Might just get another piece from her again if few weeks later if the SP still looks as new since the price is so cheap. And another thing, did any of you guys mod the back casing to prevent the camera glass from scratching? I noticed that it's quite prone to scratching, kinda worried Added on November 28, 2011, 2:15 am what screen protector you're using ar? How much?? I'm in desperate need for one Actually, i think becoz of the added thickness of the SP, my S Pen accuracy become pin sharp now. I can finally point to exactly where i want on the screen. So i am wondering whether Samsung has actually taken into consideration the thickness of a SP when they calibrate the screen. This post has been edited by Cynox: Nov 28 2011, 09:32 AM |

QUOTE(jordan86 @ Nov 28 2011, 09:51 AM) Anyone feel the keypad not responsive while charging battery? Even I charge via my laptop usb it also not responsive, especially the delete key button. I think it is quite normal - experience this sometime when charging with computer. But charging with original charger and cable has no such problem.BTW, bought the SwiftKey X for tablet at half the price on Black Friday sales from Market. Finally got the feel of HTC keyboard back. It has a nice split keyboard too. Hate the default Samsung keyboard that make switching from alphabets to numbers and vice versa so slow and troublesome. HTC keyboard can just hold the keys then the number on the shift position will be out. Swiftkey has this too. How can a Note post be without a screenie? ![]() |

Wanna buy a micro sd card for my note to store my 'convert-from-cd' songs. Wonder any different if i buy class 4 or class 10 better.
Want to store in my phone but afraid that it will slow down the system. Aiming Kingston 32g class 10 (a reliable brand). Appreciate any suggestion. |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 28 2011, 06:45 AM) If you count like that then you gonna take another floor coz Low Yatt main entrance is at Ground floor then M floor followed by 1st floor. Just look at the floor signboard above the escalator and you wont be lost. Put it inside trouser pocket. The edges of the flip.cover..its become sticky.Try to update your firmware first via FOTA. Setting > about phone > software update Added on November 28, 2011, 6:49 am What did you do that can make your flip cover go melted.? o_O Must be something serious :-P |

I swype faster now than tapping alphabets. Of course, this only works if the words you swyped is available in your dictionary, or you've added into it. btw driving and texting, is quite dangerous. even with swype. whatsapp/viber isnt helping sms easier. QUOTE(TarePanda @ Nov 28 2011, 10:32 AM) Wanna buy a micro sd card for my note to store my 'convert-from-cd' songs. Wonder any different if i buy class 4 or class 10 better. There's no significant difference between a Class 4 and 10, if you plan to use it for audio. Photo viewing however is slow even on class 10. Not photo taking, photo viewing on the built in Gallery. It took time for the system to generate thumbnails before you can view them. Want to store in my phone but afraid that it will slow down the system. Aiming Kingston 32g class 10 (a reliable brand). Appreciate any suggestion. |
