Summary: Samsung Galaxy S2 shut down itself and failed to switch on back, battery last for 3 hours after 5th day purchasing the phone. Failed to charge the phone; error message “Battery Disconnected” when plugging travel charger on 9th day after date purchased. Samsung refused to change new unit even phone faulty less than 2 weeks, technician expect customer to send mobile to service center every time same problem persist. Samsung technician is blaming market application causing phone problem even never take other aspect to consideration like battery or phone circuit faulty. Samsung service center never call back to customer to collect mobile after long time of period, customer have to go to service center to check his phone repaired or not. Samsung Notes also last for 2 hours and phone temperature very hot. Samsung mobile users complained failed to called service center as line busy whole day, every day, customers unable to check when phone is ready or phone status by calling service center. Do you want to wait for 2 hours to charge your phone again just after fully charged 3 hours ago when you about to go out from home? Or do you want to bring 2% battery level Samsung Galaxy S2 with you going out and hoping no one call when you are outdoor. What if there is important or urgent call? Or worse, even you can wait 2 hours to charge your Galaxy S2, your phone won’t charge when error message “Battery Disconnected” from your phone. Mobile phone are suppose to serve us to call connecting with people, provide calendar, tasks, and memo and others tools. Indeed we are using faulty Samsung phone, serving the phone by sending it to service center which cost us money, time, effort. Hence, we are not being paid by Samsung to test their phone and give feedback to them.

I bought Samsung Galaxy S2 at Digi Center with SmartPlan 68. After Day 5 using it, I disconnect the charger from the phone after fully charged, left it on the table, and walk away. When I came back to check the phone after 3 hours, the phone has been shut down itself. The phone's temperature was quite hot and i couldn't switch on the phone even tried few times. Later successfully switched on the phone after few times, discover the phone battery left 2% only. Does it make sense that high end phone like Samsung Galaxy S2 shut down itself and left 2% battery level after 3 hours?
Then I called to Digi salesperson who sold the phone, he advised to go to Samsung service center. I went to Samsung service center at Low Yat as instructed, but only left Samsung Sales Counter at Level 1. After I told the salesperson the phone situation, they suspect the battery or phone circuit faulty. They updated that Samsung service center has moved to Berjaya Plaza opposite Times Square, so I headed there the next day as the service center closed after operating hours.
As I went to Samsung service center and complaint about the phone shut down itself and last for 3 hours only after fully charged, the customer service frontdesk request me to leave my Samsung Galaxy S2 at service center. I was quite reluctant due to bought the phone for 5 days only, I tried to request change 1 to 1 (new unit), but frontdesk said need to leave my phone there. As I was still complaining, the frontdesk asked phone technician to talk to me. The technician mentioned no such things change 1 to 1 (new unit) even 5 days only and policy never stated that in warranty. As I mentioned my relative and friend change 1 to 1 (new unit) before for Iphone and other phones during their phone faulty, Samsung technician said Iphone have no service center in Malaysia, that’s why can change 1 to 1(new unit), but there are Samsung service center in Malaysia therefore can’t change to 1 to 1(new unit), he added if I don’t believe, he asked me to check with nearby phone service center like Nokia and Sony. I asked Samsung technician that I have to keep coming to service center if the phone keep faulty without changing to new unit? He insisted yes. The technician suggest to upgrade the android software for the phone, he confidently informed those application that we download from market can caused the phone shut down and battery last 3 hours. Samsung technician didn’t even mentioned could be battery or phone circuit problem like salesperson does as Samsung technician keep blaming application like whatsapp, viber, etc causing the problem. I have no choice but to leave Samsung Galaxy S2 at service center.
As you all can see the photo, many Samsung Galaxy S2 users are bringing their phone to service center after using for few days only. Some of them complained no voice heard from the phone after 1 minute talking in the phone. The customer has to call again to talk another 1 minute again. Some complained the phone switch off itself and no longer able to switch on back the phone after purchased few days only. As you can see the photo, one customer is bringing back his faulty phone again to Samsung service center. He is even complaining regret buying Samsung Galaxy S2, and also claimed that Samsung service center never call him back to collect his phone after so long time.
I collected the phone the next day after Samsung technician upgraded android software to 2.3.6. Another customer bring his phone to service center as his Samsung Notes also having problem include phone temperature very hot and battery last for 2 hours only. I need to season the phone again to my usual state as Samsung service center had factory reset my Galaxy S2. Since Samsung technician claimed that market application caused the phone to such, I never install any single application from market.
After using the phone till Day 9 from the day I purchased it, I plug in travel charger when my battery left 7%, an error message pop out “Battery Disconnected”. I tried few times unplugging and plugging back charger to phone, but the error message still repeat and my phone is still not charging. I tried to call the service center for many times but line was engaged. Again I bring my phone to Samsung service center at Berjaya Plaza to complain, same method customer service will said I need to leave my phone at service center to investigate for at least 3 days, may need 7 days if necessary. As you can see photo, many Samsung mobile users are bringing their phone include Samsung Galaxy S2 and etc to service center. One Indian guy sitting beside me also complained that he called many times to service but line is busy and can’t get through.

super short summary, his SG2 battery got problem, 2 hours die.
chances is he left app running in background and coz his battery to drain. Or got surge and his sg2 circuit to be faulty. Dunno what happen. Apparent as reported by him SGN also got tis problem lol.........
