from this source i found out our Note is capable of utilizing sandisk 64gb sdxc. 

so anybody going to buy that one? we can get serious storage space. so our note can become our BEST companion.

But i heard its quality is not as good as before from some of the DHD users in Singapore last year.  For me, a RM10-20 SP is good enough, dun bother to spend more.

Yes, agree with you. Few SP brands are good in the market. I was thinking to get SGP but too bad it still do not have for Note yet. For Martin Fields, good thing is that it does come with lens protector as well.

Just purchased a Sandisk 64GB microSDXC from LowYat Plaza. RM500. Was offered a Kingmax 64GB microSDXC for RM450 but am more confident of the Sandisk brand. In the process of transferring the Galaxy Note data over from my old 16GB microSD Transcend.

Both Sandisk and Kingmax 64GB microSDXC is Class 6, while the Transcend is Class 10. Opted for space versus speed. Hopefully Class 6 not too slow.

The 64GB microSDXC can only be formatted to exFat or NTFS file system only. Therefore it's formatted to exFAT for use in my Galaxy Note with formatted size of 59.6GB free.

Will do. So far it's recognized and works fine.

Do not format it via the PC. Doing so will render the card unreadable. Format using the Note. I made the mistake of formatting it on my Libretto W100 with its microSDHC card slot, to exFAT. The card is unreadable once I slot it into the Note. Had to reformat on the Note, and then transfer data back to the card.

I suppose the 64GB microSDXC is not formatted FAT32 now by the Note.

It's FAT32, still limited to 4GB. Until Google does something and extends support to NTFS or exFAT, that 4GB file barrier remains.

Formatting the card on the PC with exFAT or NTFS results in unrecognized card when inserted into the Note, which requires you to format it within the Note, resulting in FAT32 anyway.

To check your card, try copying a file size bigger than 4GB, anything other than NTFS/exFAT, it will not copy over.
