hey guys, i'm thinking of upgrading from my SGS2 to the Note... is it recommended? or any of u feel it's a wee bit too huge? My hands are pretty huge, pockets aren't though... LOL
BTW, any idea which Digi has stock for the Note? Been trying to get phone numbers for their stores but even Digi helpline won't give me the numbers saying that I need to walk in to enquire about stock. That's just mad... Am busy working and jamming through everywhere just to find out about stock is pure madness when phones are available everywhere... ridiculous
digi should already have stocks since last thu night... unless they sold out again. however, for me... i finally decided not to buy from digi coz for samsung models, you cannot change or reject the goods even if it's got 1 dead pixel. you'll have to bring it to samsung but 1 dead pixel is NOT considered a defect by Samsung. for me... screen so small... if suay2 got 1 dead pixel... have to live with it... which i can't. so, consider the extra $$$ paid to SEP as $$$ to buy exra 1 year warranty lor. plus, SEP allows me to check the phone thoroughly first, including pixels and pen check, before buying it.
size... the note is quite big. my hands are not big enough to do proper single hand operations like swyping, unlocking screen, etc... with sgs2, i can do all i mentioned with ease. but with note... have to adjust hand position first before i could do all that. even then... i can't grip the phone safely. so for note... its a 2-hand operation.
heck, using pattern lock on note can be ridiculous if you're using the pattern at the left most side (assuming you're right handed). for me... too far to reach the other side of the phone. also, lucky that the new interface on note dun require sliding from one end of the screen to another to unlock or answer calls.

yup recommended. Did the same thing of swapping from a sgs2 to a Note. At first it felt a bit too big but in a day or two u will find that the sgs2 is way too small haha. So far, no regrets and quite happy with the decision made.
yes... agreed. screen wise... once you are adjusted to the size of the note... look back at sgs2... wah, sgs2 become so small -- especially thru when reading ebooks, etc...
