I rooted mine for use with Titanium backup and market enabler solely.

need some confirmations:
1. so our local sets does not come with chinese input? can't find it.
2. how to restart the phone? I can only shut down and turn it on again now.

1. install free app google pinyin for chinese input
2. root phone n install quickboot

was at digital mall... I have to say.. the guys at the samsung stall on ground floor sucks. dun even know how to demo the note. I wanted to know how easy it was to snap photo, draw some notes and then share it... they didn't know how. in the end, I think I figured it out... import photo into s-note, and edit...

anyway, this phone is big! almost cannot do one hand swyping...but the poison is strong in this note...

I tried typing chinese using pin yin. it works

press and hold on the "tap to enter message" area
choose input method>dio pen chinese ime
then at the bottom of the keyboard, next to "." the Ab button press it and there you'll get Pinyin to type chinese words

guys... can you guys share which SEP, celcom and digi outlet still got the free flip case? 9999 sets... quite sure can't be all sold in one weekend, right? the samsung stall at digital mall day no free flip case. wanna charge me rm 200+ for it...

if I do get, it's most likely with digi. so digi outlet in kl, pj is good for me.

so far so good. do not open apps and just click home button. click back button to close it. too many running apps at the background will kill the phone performance
