i mean da groomer owns a shop la.
imagine 1 full grooming rm70..
1 basic grooming rm30..

1 day jus need 2 do 5dogs,
4 basic 1 full..
ade rm 190.
rm 190 x 30 = rm5700..

This is assuming the groomer works 30 days a month (based on your assumption that the groomer does not need off days)

Also, it is highly impossible to groom 5 dogs a day if there is no helper/staff, unless you pull 14 hour days and based on your assumption that all the dogs that come for grooming are not matted and are in good condition.

Anyways, back to your calculation:
Cost of operations:
Rental of shop lot in medium location in KL - RM3,000 per mth (Bangsar is at least RM10 - 15k)
Electricity and Water - RM500 per month
Shampoo (based on 5 dogs a day) - RM100 per month
Total Basic Cost - RM3,600 per month
Total balance - RM2,100

Start Up Capital (basic - there's more but I am too lazy to list out):
Clipper - RM600
Scissors set - RM1,000
Grooming Table - RM600
Normal Hairdryer - RM150
Water Heater - RM200
Shop Renovation (Basic)- RM20,000
Grooming Course - RM10,000
Total - RM32,550

Assuming you get 5 dogs a day and you earn a net of RM2,100, you need to work 15.5months to cover your start up capital. In that 15.5 months, you will need to spend on clipper blades, new scissors, sharpening of scissors, new hairdryer, etc..

Like I said, there are a lot of other cost involved, but too lazy to list out. So, owning a grooming shop is not necessarily profitable.

yeah i dun think one day sure got 5 dogs to groom . target audience or customer should be consider . place /
location is suitable to do pet salon as a bussiness too. a thing to share. ss2 pet summer pet shop ...bussiness is so good . i everyday pass by i saw lots of ppl buy their pets and thing and grooming summore. but on the other hand the kfc behind there .called pet pal same row with murni mamak...okay ...this shop basically interior and arrangement of the selling item is more neat compare to summer pet shop . but the bussiness not that good , cuz i talk to the pet pal owner before , he say his bussiness not that good. So i think the Earning point of pet salon is not
exactly what we calculate. Location , target audience ? , Price of the grooming will attract a customer ? Lots of thing to consider Haha. Is not easy to do a bussiness...i Think Jtl own a pet shop , so she will know .

da hairdyyer..i saw some groomers using vacumn cleaner, isit special for dogs or its easier 2 dry them up?

wondering y my breeder says lots of groomers earn up lots cos of grooming oni. weird. just cos skills they r famous..?
