wondering y my breeder says lots of groomers earn up lots cos of grooming oni. weird. just cos skills they r famous..?

Hmm...Those earning point is come from regular customer.
The 1st impression is important . Once the grommer did a mistake will scare away a customer .
And skill is the main point , secondly will be the Groomer or a shop owner behavior.
Anyway summer ss2 pet shop owner is just concentrate money and money , but some pet shop they very friendly when come customer got problem . But my gf's friend open pet salon , normally she will just do regular customer .
sumtimes if is good bussiness..ok full booking. if is free , 1-2 dogs a day for basic grooming...

haha i owez tot its a vacumn cleaner cos da shape n sound looks exactly same..

so might be very risky ler.
samor starting cost so high. never tot of all those, electricity bills, scissors.. never think thru my big brain.

Hahah... my friend has one in her petshop, it looks like a vacuum cleaner.... I got wet while helping her groom a persian cat and use that dryer to dry myself.... feels like aeroplane engine in my face, so strong but fast at drying and very syiok hahahah....

haha..i envy ppl who has pet shops too.
can everyday face those cute dogs, den can groom cute cute dogs..

sigh. need 2 owez think twice.
btw how much roughly is an operation of cataract, for a shih tzu? need 2 prepare a sum of $$ for Prince. afraid dat he might hv something on wif his right eye. he dowan let me take pic, but its like 1 layer white white floating above his eyes.

haha u even tried dat dryer b4 ar..
so many things u've tried..muz b very interesting..

no ar..i say u go take grooming course ar..
den u can groom ur own Hugo according 2 ur creativity lor.

haha ya its bout rm10k n above..
but i think its worth it ler, if ur not working n u plan 2 work. groomers sometimes earn more than a professional teacher / doctor.

This is assuming the groomer works 30 days a month (based on your assumption that the groomer does not need off days)

Also, it is highly impossible to groom 5 dogs a day if there is no helper/staff, unless you pull 14 hour days and based on your assumption that all the dogs that come for grooming are not matted and are in good condition.

Anyways, back to your calculation:
Cost of operations:
Rental of shop lot in medium location in KL - RM3,000 per mth (Bangsar is at least RM10 - 15k)
Electricity and Water - RM500 per month
Shampoo (based on 5 dogs a day) - RM100 per month
Total Basic Cost  - RM3,600 per month
Total balance - RM2,100

Start Up Capital (basic - there's more but I am too lazy to list out):
Clipper - RM600
Scissors set - RM1,000
Grooming Table - RM600
Normal Hairdryer - RM150
Water Heater - RM200
Shop Renovation (Basic)- RM20,000
Grooming Course - RM10,000
Total - RM32,550

Assuming you get 5 dogs a day and you earn a net of RM2,100, you need to work 15.5months to cover your start up capital. In that 15.5 months, you will need to spend on clipper blades, new scissors, sharpening of scissors, new hairdryer, etc..

Like I said, there are a lot of other cost involved, but too lazy to list out. So, owning a grooming shop is not necessarily profitable.
