A brand specifically for shih tzu? I have not seen that brand before.... get the name then maybe we can see if it is good or not.
Royal Canin Shih Tzu - RSP is RM56.00 for a 2kg bag

http://www.royalcanin.us/dogfood/shihtzu.html

Just noticed that the website ingredients and the actual packaging doesn't match

*
Am located in Sunway.

Which Innova are you feeding? The green bag or the silver one? The silver one which is known as Innova Evo is super tasty but a bit pricey la. Innova Evo is very good food. High protein, low carb and no grain.

Will PM you my contact and address.

Now i also trying out different brand see which one suits FIFI the most, and produce less odour poo.
*
Try adding Oxyfresh deodoriser to the drinking water and give Biscal. I normally recommend this to my customers when they have odour problem as well. So, far, most of them say that it really works. Need to wait two weeks before you see full results. But I can't guarantee la. May work on some dogs and may not work on some

The one I got is from the Organic shop at Ikano.... same floor with A&W there.... if I remember correctly should be Rm2.50.... but anyway, no other place sell 500g hahaha.... it is effective and deodorizing too.... if say dog pee on bed, cover the mattress with a layer and put the bedsheet on top, won't smell pee at all.
*
You can buy from Bake with Yan at Taman Megah too. I bought from there about that price too smile.gif

Bake with Yan ?? Is that a shop name? A minimart ?  Roughly where is it ?
*
Yup, its a shop name. It's at the row of shop houses behind Pet Family but on the other end. They sell all sorts of baking materials. OT: If you enjoy baking, this is a GREAT shop to go to. Their mascarpone cheese is the cheapest in town!

Ooooh, I just check my packet. It's called Bake with Yen and not Yan. I paid RM2.30 for 1kg but this was a year ago la. Also, a point to note is that is sometimes called sodium bicarbonate.

Baking soda and vinegar are my best friends when it comes to cleaning smile.gif

Didn't know that Bake with Yen has a few outlets.

Anyways, these are their outlets:

http://www.bakewithyen.com/contactus.html

You can call them first and ask the price and whether got stock or not smile.gif

Some other things to consider: Flea and Tick prevention, Heartworm prevention, deworming syrup, slicker/pin brush, comb, nail clipper, nail file, etc. Sorry, can't think of anything else right now. My puppy starter kit list not with me right now.

i mean da groomer owns a shop la.
imagine 1 full grooming rm70..
1 basic grooming rm30..

1 day jus need 2 do 5dogs,
4 basic 1 full..
ade rm 190.
rm 190 x 30 = rm5700..
*
This is assuming the groomer works 30 days a month (based on your assumption that the groomer does not need off days)

Also, it is highly impossible to groom 5 dogs a day if there is no helper/staff, unless you pull 14 hour days and based on your assumption that all the dogs that come for grooming are not matted and are in good condition.

Anyways, back to your calculation:
Cost of operations:
Rental of shop lot in medium location in KL - RM3,000 per mth (Bangsar is at least RM10 - 15k)
Electricity and Water - RM500 per month
Shampoo (based on 5 dogs a day) - RM100 per month
Total Basic Cost - RM3,600 per month
Total balance - RM2,100

Start Up Capital (basic - there's more but I am too lazy to list out):
Clipper - RM600
Scissors set - RM1,000
Grooming Table - RM600
Normal Hairdryer - RM150
Water Heater - RM200
Shop Renovation (Basic)- RM20,000
Grooming Course - RM10,000
Total - RM32,550

Assuming you get 5 dogs a day and you earn a net of RM2,100, you need to work 15.5months to cover your start up capital. In that 15.5 months, you will need to spend on clipper blades, new scissors, sharpening of scissors, new hairdryer, etc..

Like I said, there are a lot of other cost involved, but too lazy to list out. So, owning a grooming shop is not necessarily profitable. smile.gif

da hairdyyer..i saw some groomers using vacumn cleaner, isit special for dogs or its easier 2 dry them up?

*
lol...its not a vacuum cleaner la. It's a canggih hair dryer. Cost between RM600 to RM3,000, depending on size, power, model, etc
