i thought they always have fly-bys by the MIG-29 in the previous edition of LIMA..

so you went to all the previous LIMA everdying? do they sell aircraft model there?

you still can go but you'll have to make a day trip and maybe sleep by the ocean in tent laa...

last couple of year a couple of my friend did just that... since the event is on Saturday & Sunday so just go there on Saturday morning... tour all the sites and sleep on the beach with some camping gear they bring along.... but dunno if they allow that now..

also i heard in the news today that the goverment going to have a talk with the ferry company to extend their service hours during the week of the event so that many ppl can make a day trip to Langkawi and back on the same day...

i'm thinking of making a day trip there myself via Penang port.... see how it turn out and see if the wife willing to follow or not

Strangely the Heliconia livery isn't on sale, at least not in their in-flight catalogue. Even the Hibiscus is limited to 1,000 units.

nah the extra issues are of the aircrafts i like.
just recently added extra issue of the F15 model

hehe...actually i manage to get all the issues except #29 & #32 from the distributor. Only that two issues are unvailable as it was not sent to them.

not too surprised on issue32 not being available as thats the AH-1 cobra.

DW is making MRD models (yeah, the Heliconia). the MRD models are sold online, not inflight (to date).

yup, MPD models sold by MH is limited to 1,000 units - special edition, so-called. but you can always buy some online. there's DW and GJ manufacturing it, if i'm not mistaken.

dood i am back too bad i cannot find those chinise model becos of time issue

loking forward to LIMA this year i hope to see SU-27 and MiG-29 in action..

dunno whereter those Russian Knight acro team will come to malaysia becos last time they come

as for LIMA this year... i dunno for sure.. but hopefully to see the Sukhoi SU30MK since TUDM already have a plan to purchase some of this bad-boys for our usage..

and only if we can purchase those aircraft model that they have on display at the manufacturer's booth (that really BIG and details model) then i would be in heaven... imagine displaying those in your living room..

as for model kits... so no-one ever been to LIMA can confirm with us if they sell aircraft model over there during this event?

As for those magazines, I just subscribe them so no hassle of trying to source for it at bookshops. I did managed to get about 8 copies of the F-15E issues haha.

Well I thought about getting the Hibiscus, then decided I can't shell out US$40 on a model. I know I'll regret this later

just found this forum...remind me how enjoy when fixing the modelling few year past..i'm the hot fans on TAMIYA and all other brand modelling kit also, still got 20..maybe 30 boxes still not fix yet, from tank, plane, motocycle, figure and ship...ahhhh..miss it but alway no time to fix.
